Okay so i can not think of exactly what this is called

but its no man left behind or something.
stating that when in war you will care for all injured no matter what side they are from.

what is everyones opinion on this.
i think it's kinda pointless and a waste of money, but it's kinda nice i guess lol?

    care for the enemy?

Not all soldiers are given a choice.

The injured enemy should be given the lowest priority in healthcare from a strategic perspective.

But, war can't be just war. If you want to get down and dirty, take out the nukes and bomb them all. Otherwise, keep some dignity.

    care for the enemy?

NO LIFE IS A WASTE OF MONEY!!

When 2 countries are at war, the soldiers are the inocent ones, Its the governments we are actually fighting. The soldiers are mearly doing what they are told, There no different to our soldiers. Once a soldier is wounded/injured, they are out of the war, There no threat. These soldiers we are killing arnt evil, there not bad people, there no different to the our soldiers, following orders. Its the people who are making the orders we are fighting, not them.

    care for the enemy?

I wouldn't do it, but I'm an Atheist and I believe in science mostly. I'd take them somewhere okay if I had free time, but I wouldn't help them.

    care for the enemy?

I agree with you for once..

It's not really a waste of money to save someones life. I mean sure, they may have been trying to kill you, but you were also trying to kill them. It's immoral to leave someone to die.

I think when they say no man lft behind they are taking about their allies, not their enemys.

    care for the enemy?

    Scenario!

You and I are in the war, but on different sides. We come near each other, but I step on a land mine and unfortunately, get my leg blown off. I'm crying in pain, but not dead yet. I see you coming, and with my little bit of strength, I shoot you dead.

    ^Okay?

Once a soldier is wounded/injured, it only heightens, for the most part, their instinct to the sense of survival. Look out for all, shoot anyone who isn't there to help. Your statement is for the part that I quoted, invalid.

On to the topic, though, I believe that war should be abolished, however in such a "Care for the enemy" case, I believe that you are in the War for a reason. To help your side win. Do this by all means necessary, and kill whoever you have to to get this objective complete.

That person knew what would come in the war. He died gloriously, and I'm sure many of them wouldn't choose to die any other way. However, the fact still stands, they KNEW, and they still decided to go. This is the way of the world.

    care for the enemy?

Stand on a land mine and see how capable you are of finding your gun, and then shooting the next enemy you see walk past.

My statement is more aimed at the injured that surrender, not those that continue to fight. If an enemy surrenders, there are laws to how these people are treated, They are not to be killed, and if they are, the people who killed them will be up for murder.

If you think its moral to kill wounded/surrendered soldiers, I hope you choke on your own cock and die, arrogant american.

    care for the enemy?

If we were to just kill them on sight without a second-thought would be cruel and uncivilized. We would be similar to the extremists that threaten the United States. I am not saying we should bring them in and treat them then release them. I am saying we should leave them be. It would be better to give them a chance at living rather than to just walk up with a gun, point it at their head, and kill him execution style.

    care for the enemy?

Every war has to have it's rules. People remain people, and look at it positive, if your injured the enemy has to help you too.

    care for the enemy?

You have clearly never seen a war. Sometimes the friendship between enemies can be bigger then family. They're not fighting against a person, but against a government.

    care for the enemy?

This is almost what everyone in the thread fails to realize.

If you do get the job done, and care for the enemy afterwards, you will have a better chance of becoming allies with them in the future. If you just bomb and leave, then there goes chances.

    care for the enemy?

Some vietnam vet told me this. Kill them all, and let god sort it out. As in, If someone is shooting at you while they are like a hit with a leaf away from death, Do you let them shoot you? No. You kill them, and let it sort itself out in the end.

So yes, this is a very retarded idea, and a waste of money.
