    Mistakes corrected, thanks.

In Genesis there is a gap. In Genesis 1:1 describes the creation story, but between that time it is said that Satan and his followers corrupted the Earth and brought evil to the Earth, angering God and causing him to destroy Earth and all living things. So the Earth is said to say lifeless for a long period of time and then the 2nd creation story started after those many long years.

That is a theory explaining how the Bible corrects itself, but if the Bible meant the world even when it had no life then it would say the actual amount of years it has been here for.

    Thanks, here goes
Omnipotent things shouldn't get pissed over such silly things.
Yes, that would logically happen if God existed

    Which is how many years?

But still, you're still talking about the bible. Which nulls itself because it's not possible to happen. Unless you have god. And you can't prove god. Oh, but you can. Because the bible says so. But the bible has so many loopholes and doesn't make any sense. Unless you have god, and you can't prove god. Oh, but you can. Because the bible says so. Unless you have god. And you can't prove god. Oh, but you can. Because the bible says so. But the bible has so many loopholes and doesn't make any sense.

I don't understand how that disproves what I said.

    1) Just because God is omnipotent doesn't mean he can not get angry.

    2) You have no proof that God is not real.

    3) You were unable to disprove how the two creation stories had a long resting time in between.

Also, if it did say in the Bible that the Earth is 6,000 years old, then remember that the Bible was written a long time ago. Even though when the Earth was 6,000 years old, humans weren't alive, but if you take in to consideration my theory of the gap of creation stories, then it is more understandable.

Then you clearly do not understand logic.
I bet you don't believe in dinosaurs, or Lucy either

Please leave. Your post has nothing of value. Let's keep the whole "prove to me god is/n't real" thing out. It just gives us a dead end

Dinosaurs were here before humans, but the Bible was written by humans which was after dinosaurs.

As for Lucy, I do believe in evolution, but evolution does not disprove God.

My point was that he said the earth is about 8,000 years old now. Dinosaurs got totally wiped out in that small amount of years? No records? Lucy was carbon dated to over 9,000 years ago. What does that mean?

EDIT: Yes, evolution does disprove Christianity.

But how does it disprove Christianity? When God created man, man could be monkeys. God did not say humans, he said I'm going to create man, which could be his plan of monkeys and then overtime evolving into humans as God's plan for man.

Anyone, including I, could have written the bible... it is just a piece of literature that everyone mistakes for a holy sacred document...

Disagreed. Majority Christian nation (USA) puts it on us.

Anyways, I hate when people quote the bible (in this case, he didn't even properly cite it!). The Bible is a compilation of hundreds of people, dozens of translators... ffs, it's not Jesus spilling out Latin as many suggest. If you actually did any research, you'd find it originated from the Church (well, not always, sometimes, we don't even know!) which has been wrong MANY times, corrupted MANY times... do some research on the "heretical earth around sun" and "indulgences" to find out why.

Even if the hypothetical Jesus was the SON of God, there is no claim that he or God compiled the holy book themselves.

Moving on, I can't begin with the proof against the theory that the earth is 6000 years old...

Carbon dating (not 100% accurate true, but not billions of years off)
Logic ( Did humans and dinosaurs coexist?)

Disbelief is the standard position. The burden of proof is on them.

Anger is an emotion, a human emotion in fact. Trees do not feel anger, bacteria does not feel anger. They do not have the neurological senses in their central nervous system to develop such thoughts.

To be omnipotent is not possible if you are a human being, it would destroy them. Therefore, any such idea of omnipotence is lacking of a nervous system in which they can have such feelings as: Anger, Love, Desire, Motivation, etc.

And since we as the public do not know of any life out there which has similar thoughts as us, we cannot assume it is possible. If you do, you are going purely on a matter of opinion, and therefore there is no credibility to whatever you feel should be right. Furthermore, your presumption of a god is purely on a matter of opinion, which, again, has no credibility.

Also, lol at troll :D... Someone ban the guy =/.

If evolution was God's plan then why didn't he say that in the bible?
You're just trying to convince your self that there's a god by keeping scientific theory's in you beliefs which directly contradict what's said in the bible.

"I believe evolution was god's plan." , "I believe god made the big bang." and stupid claims like that. The bible doesn't say anything about evolution so why do YOU think that God's planed evolution for the earth?

I believe in evolution, and I don't believe in creationism. You can't believe both, because if you did, You're just contradicting what your God said.

    The christian God doesn't exist.
