There is a complete lack of blending, there is no focal so I have no idea where you want me to look, there is no depth, and no variation in lighting. I would also recommend not using such fancy fonts.

Google blending and the 3 part rule [w/e it's called].

Well, don't call me a noob.. i've been using fireworks for like 4 years, i just haven't changed my style, and if you see that as nooby, please keep it to yourself.

 

try a tutorial, i dont mean to sound rude or obnoxious but i hate when people come here and basically every sig they post is just "ow i wuz juast massing round" try some effects, c4ds, gradiants, photofilters, blurring

I will try to get better, i tried adding more to my sigs, as you can see in my current one (the little cut out was a test, wanted to see if it looked any good)
still no blending, but if you look closely at the background, i have tried to put more to it, lots of images, with transparency levels set differently.

(EDIT: I googled c4ds and didn't really find a definition, i think it means the backgrounds that are made by like drawing random lines and adding filters in photoshop, but i use fireworks, and haven't found a way to do this yet.)

I try to blur my backgrounds/images slightly, but mainly nothing that is meant to be looked at, could you please explain cd4s and photofiltering, or i can try google

anyway... c4d's is like abstract images made in a program called Cinema 4D(therefore C4D) Cinema 4D is a 3D program... here is an example:

So these are for using as backgrounds? or something else?

well.. not only as bg.. its like an extra effect-thingy so u should blend it in to the image not just put it behind a render as and bg... if u get what i mean..

Really the only thing I can reccoemt you do is go search some Photoshop sites, google etc for some decent tutorials or read the stickies.
