I know what you mean. Sometimes someone personally explaining it is easier than looking it up. I just Googled it, though, and came up with this: http://www.download.com/Video-AVI-to-GIF-JPEG-Converter/3000-2194_4-10379741.html. I tried it out and everything.

 

I just tried it with the shortest video clip I had; one of my new pup.



The only gay thing about that is the 'unregistered' shit.

You have to open the video with a certain program that allows you to work with animations. Photoshop is a decent one.
It shows you all of the frames that are in the video. There will be tons of frames if the video is long, or you want a long piece of the video. It just depends on how long you want the .gif to be, and what.
