+1. Read that article, trust me... Don't get an iphone, I have an env2 which has all the features the iphone does except it's only $100.

I have an Iphone right now. I would get it if i had another chance. There are some many different things you can do with it. It is differently worth it. The camera is amazing EDGE is getting faster. Wifi is bad ass. The only thing that i wouldn't do with it is jail break it. I have done it and i have to restore it back to factory tonight. The bad side to it is that GPS isnt turn by turn and that no MMS. But you can get pic messages its just harder to do it. Trust you will not be disappointed if you have any q's add my msn or pm me. I know alot of ppl say not to get it but do it.

I don't see the need for people to have THAT many features on your phone, but if you're really into it go for it. Seems like I don't have a phone for longer then 3 months before it breaks, so I don't buy expensive ones anymore unless I have insurance, which I do on my new phone . Had to use insurance the 3rd week due to a swimming pool... yeah I'm an idiot

I'd do it. I just got an Ipod Touch for my B-day 3 days ago and its great. I wish i got the iphone tho casue its annoying having the ipod in 1 pocket, phone in other, and wallet in back lol. well if u get the iphone / ipod be sure u remember about buying music / games / videos (and shows). I got most mine off frostwire (same thing as lime wire pretty much) cause it ends up costing me like $50-100 a week for the movies and songs i DL lol.

Oh yeah, make sure to get a GOOD case for it. My friend and dad's iphones both got cracked screens when they were in thier pockets so thats your only worry.

 

the thing about the iphone its only touch screen. i have the voyager from the verizon and i dont even use the touch on the front. i use the full keybroad inside so in my opinion it gets annoying. i got the itouch worth it

 

That's actually a great point when you think about it. I say get the ipod touch and then get a nice regular phone for you to enjoy. Plus the fact that a lot of people have iphones, so it's not much of a "wow" anymore to have one.

 

another thing about the iphone it might only be 200 bucks to buy it but its like 60 a month i think for the internet and shit. i forget what the actually name of why you pay the 60 a month.

 

Iphone sucks, jailbreak ownz until iphone decided to be clever and make you update it every month, so then you have to jailbreak again download all your shit again etc etc, really dumb.

You should wait for the T-Mobile G1 Android, if your looking for cool stuff like jailbreak and much more, its linux so they want you to jailbreak unlike iphone who acts like windows trying to make everything unauthorized etc.

plus its much cheapers, only downside not perfect hardware, but the software ownz! The user-interface etc.

 

You'll be good as long as you get a 2 year warrant. iPhone's selling value doesn't go down fast.
