    Oh noes, a suggestion

Well, i am rather tired of reading threads of people that typ lik dis

So i think that if you have bad grammar, at least in the intellectual forums, the post should get deleted or something.

This is serious, also. All the noob's are making this community..nooby.

    Thanks.

We could also give a certain people the power to delete posts and shit, and give them ranks!

Agree. People who can't spell to a certain degree shouldn't be allowed to post in the intellectual forums, but who would actually just browse through the SFA and other sub-forums on sythe just searching for Newfags who spell like shit and delete their posts. And I'd think a few people will actually post in the Dispute section saying their post was deleted in error >.>.

While the idea based upon this is good, I don't think it would work out well.

Maybe people should take a spelling test when they join sythe and if they pass they get to post in the important forums like SFA, Community etc. If they fail, they just retake it when they think they got better in grammar.

    Meh.. my 2 cents.

Eh, I am not into taking tests.

All I am saying is that if you cannot post correctly, do not at all.

Stop trying to moderate how people spell and what they say. >.>

If you think someone spells like a retard, tell them that they spell like a retard...

This thread would make more sense if the topic was: "Infractions for flaming should out if the people being flamed are illiterate..."

No, that'd be a horrible Idea IMO, because I used to have horrible typing skills when I joined as well as many others, I know TJ also had this problem, we all used to have bad grammar when we joined, but we learn. If people post/read in the intellectual forum, give them a couple weeks and they will be typing with proper grammar.

It's not that big of a problem, all the 11 year olds are in the Runescape forums anyway. All you have to do is be an example and help the other's learn instead of put them down tbh.

I'm dyslexic and I can still type normally. :p

But I support this suggestion. Make it infractable, and after three times, said user is forum banned.

This would kind of be discriminatory against people who aren't very literate or don't know English that well. For example when I first joined sythe I could hardly spell. "Ei an a noub"
