We in ohio got hit by the hurricane winds, the offset of course, and it was enough to topple tree's, crash power for 200k, and do alot of damage. SO i would hate to see down there.

Katrina was still worse

 

If you can see from his prev posts you can tell he isnt asking for sympathy. Sorry though im glad down here in canada we dont get storms like that.

 

That is sad... I hope things turn out good for you guys over there. Except one person I know down there who I wouldn't mind got swept away

I think this year was a record because the past 6 hurricanes have all hit the US... Idk if that's exactly right but I heard it on the radio.

And yeah TJ I got my power back last night. 8 days without it, we were one of the last neighborhoods in the actual Houston area to get our power back, but outside of Houston Centerpoint still has about 30-40% of their customers to restore I believe.

And again I want to clarify that even though I'm telling you my story, I don't want your sympathy. I want you to realize that things like this DO happen, and if you look on the news you can see the people who actually DO need sympathy.

Again, please do not think I'm trying to make you feel sorry for me, I'm only trying to educate you of the people who lose their lives, either physical lives or everything important in their lives, to storms like this. This is very real.

You think we don't know about those people? I don't think anyone on these forums live in a third world country, but this is something we can relate to. Most people here live in the US, and they need to realize that things like this happen in their country to people just like them. Yeah and stop spamming and douching it up everywhere.

 

Why should i give sympathy to people i do not know? I care about no one but myself and family, when it comes down to the long run.
