Coal in the guild may be the best money, but iron is still the fastest way as long as you just drop it on the ground.

 

if your p2p power mining granite is the fastest way people who go for 99 do granite

 

My mate got her mining 60 from 93 in mining guild. Took about 2 years. No doubts granite is really the best.

Granite is P2P, is the way to go, in fact- you can get 50k-70k experience an hour there if you really haul ass.

I mined coal at skeleton mines and basically no lifed for 2 weeks and got 85 mining. But honestly, 85 mining isn't that great, its harder to mine ores with rev ghosts IMO.

Powermining iron is what i did to get to 90 mining.

 

Unless you use an autodropper, the amount of time it takes to actually drop the iron is roughly equaled by the banking time.

Don't forget that if you entirely mined iron from 15 to 90, you'd mine about 152k coal.

The equivalent of 14,657,568 GP.

 

I say you do Granite, like everyone else.

But since you brought up just the guild, I would assume your free to play? So I don't suggest powermining Iron ore simply because you miss out on the money. So coal all the way, the best place to go would be the guild of course. Also the Swamp mines maybe a good option. Or if your really not into moneymaking how about those gold ores in the volcano in Karamaja. Find yourself some people interested in a small profit. Tell them you'll mine them gold for average price and they can sell for....10gp over the mid price in the GE and it will sell.

But in order for you to get maximum profit and EXP with that I suggest getting two or more enterprising souls to run for you as the walk is really far. With this way, in theory you get a lot of money and a lot of EXP. But the catch tho is that these can't be idiots, if they are idiots more than likely they'll sell it for mid or lower and be like; "HaXED!! I lst mah monah!! oh noez!!!". So remind them constantly. Altho, there's the alternative where they can trade you junk willow logs for it, less money(way less) still some money but better exp and less tiring than Mine and Drop. Hope you think about my advice
