- Genetic similarities between all species.
- Anatomical similarities.

Of course we do. You see, unlike "God", the theory of evolution is actually a credible theory. Theories require coherent information and facts to be classed as theory. Your God has none of these, it is a concept and nothing more.

There's a massive fossil record (http://www.talkorigins.org/), scientists can observe natural selection occur in drug-resistant bacteria (rapid macro evolution), and there's the close genetic and morphological homologies between humans and chimpanzees which establishes them as our closest extant relatives (that are still alive).

In a debate, the entire point is to change someone's mind or belief. If you can't respect that this is actually what debating is for, then how about you just leave?

 

Why does he need a reason to not believe? Atheism can be thought of as the starting point, or null hypothesis (i think thats what its called...) and there needs to be evidence or at least logic to make us move on to thinking a god exists.
