Attempting Range/tank

I made this guy like 2 days ago and been just trainning with longrange so the defence and range xp is exactly the same.

But I dunno if to stop that and train range on rapid then later train def with melee. Also dunno if leave 40 def or keep going up with range.Also I probly train up some attack and str but only enough so it doesnt affect combat same with some prayer.

Tryed out abit at duel arean with only irons and longrange, didnt do to bad.Also gonna xfer some more money over.

 

If you are staking are you using longrange? Or are you mostly training in duel arena?

 

Neither yet(when i was there ya I still was using longrange), just got bored and went there. Was at SoS training longrange on the first floor things.

 

I got one, 40def 62 range, and he beasts in bh low crater

I would recommend 40 def until you are out of the low crater

Nice, you should keep 1 prayer until your like 80+ range, it's not worth getting 3-5 combat levels on prayer.

 

Thanks guys, thats probly what I will do stop at 40def and train range.

Should I bother with quests like dragon slayer to get rune plate? I think if I were to do dragon slayer now it would put me over 40 def so is it worth it?
