I don't know why you think User Education revolves around you. Yes, you were HUE once, but now you want to destroy User Education. I think you got that point across already.

That’s a pretty ignorant statement you got there.. User Educators recommend people to HUE's, who then make the final decision.

Maybe this is why you don't understand the point of User Education. User Education is a place to post guides, and to gain knowledge about anything. It doesn't all have to be computers.

User Education isn't based solely on programming.

Six is Ekthador . He rejoined User Ed and such, and he was the one I told everything to. And if it wasn't Six that sent you the screen shots of some random conversation, then it was probably me fucking around.

We had weekly meetings on MSN, no I wasn't the only one adding rules Pen, but I posted them because I could word things far better than TDD, or Dave, or anyone else who came along could.

I like the new layout, honestly, but it's become rather childish is why a lot of people dislike it.

You couldn't have run it by yourself, you don't have the time. And if you're so willing to let good educators just go from your team based on 'dedication', then you clearly don't care. They're replaceable, etc.

I know, but that's my point. Who's to say you won't quit, at which point... User Education would be removed. It's too risky imo.

User Education shouldn't REVOLVE around anyone Pen. It should be there for the people, with only a few people working on the section BEHIND THE SCENES to improve it. But it shouldn't actually be in the hands of any one person BECAUSE if that person leaves, the section is removed.

But people leave. I'm saying that's how it was. I know why I lost HUE, it was because I asked for colored names and staff appearance. So the staff felt I was going crazy, etc. Everyone complained to Unknown, he denied all of my work without looking at it.

God, do you HONESTLY think I was the only one making decisions?! I ran EVERYTHING through Dave and TDD FIRST before I did it. And the things I didn't, I posted for possible consideration. I wasn't as insane as you think I was.

User Education's POINT was for people to come and LEARN. There's no learning going on in that section penny boy, just a bunch of people acting like they know something, and spewing what they think they know.

Your educators aren't educated enough to be educating people, so I don't see how they can be called User Educators. It was intended to make people smarter, but when you have ignorance teaching people ignorance, it just makes them ignorant.

And you're right, there should be some other guides in there besides just computers. But they should be about things like 'How to study properly' 'How to get grants for colleges' 'How to do your homework quickly' shit that will actually help these people succeed in life.

Have fun at the mall man... I'm not asking YOU to remove User Education. If I wanted it removed, you know damn good and well how I'd be acting. You're fully aware of how much of an upheaval I can create, and if I truly wanted such I would have done so a long... LONG time ago.

Pen, I want that section to succeed, but I don't want it like it was before. I would have poured SHIT tons of work into guides, helping people, etc... but I'm not gonna waste my time on something that could easily be removed.

 

It seems to me like sythe is turning into the same shit hole Jagex is.

I don't see the point of "Official" User Educators anyway. Why not just all have a universal section and forget the titles and ranks.
