Makes me sad when I look at it and see how the company ruined what people looked forward to everyday, after school, or a weekend morning. Please keep this thread alive to remind us of what we could all have been doing right now instead of reminiscing about it.

You people complained about wildy and did RWT. so its your guys fault.

 

The character graphics are not horrible. People just say that because they're so used to the old Rs that they don't like a change. Ask anyone new to Rs and have them compare old graphics to new. They will say new.

And I don't know why people keep crying about the old Rs. It's gone, so get over it and start enjoying the new. It's not so fucking bad if you just open your oppinions instead of thinking that it's shitty no matter what. In my oppinion, Hd is one of the best updates Jagex has ever released. They can not keep Rs going with the graphics they had before. At this day in age, Rs oldschool graphics was a joke. Anybody new to rs wouldn't want to join because so many other games have amazing graphics compared to Rs. Jagex needed to come out with the graphics update, and it was a huge success.

The main issue with Rs these days is the old Pvp gameplay. Jagex removed it, which was a huge loss, no doubt. THAT is something to miss.

But, again, Jagex is coming out with new Pvp gameplay options which will eventually overcome our losses.

I hate it when people pretend to hate jagex. If it weren't for them, you wouldn't be playing this game in the fucking first place. If you want to be mad at anyone, look at yourselves. Jagex made those pvp changes BECAUSE of RWT. This IS a RWT website! So stfu about Jagex and their "Epic phailss omgzz"

God damn.


But, dont get me wrong. I do miss the old gameplay. <3 Not the graphics.

 

I miss everything about the old RS. I would give my pure away for it.

 

I can't use the high detail of the new graphics, which I here are better. The low detail graphics make hair and other aspects of the game such as armor and weapons look corny and down right unappealing. The graphics for me are kind of like comparing the 1960's Ford Mustangs to the modern ones, the older ones had amazing design, the new ones lost their unique look.

 

The high detail graphics make me lag too much. It was a good update but I stick to low detail to avoid that lag. I've lost 3M because of the lag from high detail and I've about given up on it. The only thing I miss about old rs is the gameplay. Nothing else. Jagex has actually made the game better if you were to ignore the removal of unbalanced trade and the wildy. They actually have had some pretty decent updates but you can't respect them anymore because of the removal of the wildy. The only really fun thing to do back in old rs was to pk but now you can't even do that. People used to play the game because it was fun. Now it's not fun, it's just plain boring. Stop complaining about how rs used to be until the new pvp update comes out. If it fails then go on complaining but if they actually do a decent job of reviving the wildy, RS will be fun and have the same thrills it used to have. It's the past. So please don't make anymore threads like this one.

I have 2 gigs of ram now so I play on it fine, it's great!

 

Never pked nothing back on runescape 2(when there was wildy)
as i always thought that a perfect f2p rune pure would be 40 atk 80 str 40 def.i had that,but never hitted

I have been playing for a year or so when they took out the ditch, and about 2 when they took out the wild. Or was it jsut months not a year? But memories are recalled here,businesses-old, new, disbanded, profits. And of PK trips with my clan, which I usually lost full runes and str (t) and Green D'hide(g) because we sucked at PKing and I suck at eating the food while my clan killed people.
