Religion Vs. Theory

Hello runescapers,

Yes as my title says "Religion Vs. Theory Aka. Evolution"

Isn't this the ultimate question we have on our minds. Well me i am a religious person but in my life, in our society we must follow theory to actually suceed in life.

Ok to get to the Point the reason i put "Religious Vs theory" is because there is no TRUE answer to this. Does god really exist? did the world actually begin with cynobacteria and the big bang?

While in my high school years i noticed something big with our community.

I did a survery on Religion And Theory.

Basic questions to Resolve that the people where either religious or Evolutionists.

I said basic questions like. Do you believe in god, do you believe in the big bang theory. etc

But what stumbled me the most MORE THAN 60% of people i surveyed

Question 1) do you believe in Adam and Eve? Yes
Question 30) "Last question of the survey" do you believe that we came from monkeys? yes

Ok so to you and me that seems odd. takes millions of years to evolutionise and the world is only 6000 years old so OBVIOUSLY people are still confused on religion an Theory.

Please let me know your thoughts.

Eh, actually the people who believe in religion are the THEISTS and the ones who don't are the ATHEISTS. 'A' meaning not, or without. So technically, religion is the theory, and atheism is the lack of theory.

As I perceive it, that's called Agnosticism. The belief of God, but not a specific God.

A sort of 'we'll find out when we get there' approach. Most people would list Agnostics under Atheists.

You read it in a fairy tale called the bible. Science and mathematics show its around 4.5 BILLION years old. Theres been fossils found that are way older then 6000 years old.
