Impressed at RuneMate & Jagex

Recently, I started logging in back to Runescape 3 with my buddies after one night talking about the nostalgia. And somehow, it got us stuck! We were impressed at the new stuff that have been added! Skill rework and all, so that kept it fresh for someone that have been on hiatus for a while. Been having crash course here and there, so I know the RS community is divided with regards to the "new game" anyways, they have the OSRS to play. So yeah.

That aside, while I was playing the new RS with my buddies... something hidden in my deep mind came back to life and gave me a nudge on my leg. It was the Botting Devil! Haha. Yeah it felt like the Botting Devil was awaken after being asleep for years.

Drama, I know. ( But it really felt that way haha)

I used to bot alot multiple accounts using my personal PC & VPSes. And my weapon of choice last time was rsbot/nexus/kbot. They were the God (I pay for my bots) I dont recall having accounts that were banned...
I cant remember much, but I think I did use Powerbot too.

So it got me looking around, and I found out something today, it was VisualRM (RuneMate)!!!

I used to have programming classes in Uni and I really enjoyed it, but after graduation, I did not have much time to program for fun. But after knowing that VisualRM exists, I was ecstatic! WOW! Botting clients have definitely evolved along with the evolved game. I was impressed at how there are people developing visual programming, making it easy for people who are learning basic programming and also love to play runescape. Checked my boxes twice.

I'd love to play around with VisualRM, but just worried on getting caught. I have not researched much into RuneMate (Injection/Reflection/Visual methods??) so I dont really know the up front risk of just by logging in to your account using RuneMate.
What do you guys reckon? Is it safe for light botting here and there?

 

Don't bot on accounts you're not willing to lose. That said, RM is one of the best clients out there so I wouldn't worry too much.

 

VisualRM is a very "safe bot" depending on how smart you make your bots and how much you'll run them.

I can run for 15+ hours a day on some, but only like 5 on others. Just depends

 

Don't expect to be able to bot like the old days, If you're not greedy there is a chance you could survive. It's not really recommended to bot on accounts you care about.

 

Is it difficult to setup? I saw something about it but haven’t taken the time to check it out.

Interested to see if I could farm some gold with it on multiple accounts

 

If you know how to create a bot script along with making sure clients are updated with rs updates then I would say light botting is fine, but remember there is always a chance of being banned.

 

RM is the best RS3 client, I got max cape + 120 Slayer with it.
