Second of all your an idiot the Mayans didn't just not end their calender they made a prediction that something was gonna happen on that date. They are also not the only group of people or person to say something might happen on that year.

And if Y2K wasn't important then did billions of dollars go into making sure all the technology was updated and made sure to be ready? If those precautions weren't taken ahead of time like they did who knows what would of happened.
