    Is tax avoidance wrong?

Is it ethical for multinational corporations to arbitrage countries by their corporate tax rates?

What is your opinion regarding the social economic, and moral implications of the fact that some governments provide special tax treatments for MNCs?

Looking for some sophisticated responses for you know what ;););)

It could be interpreted as morally wrong, but also efficient and optimal from a financial standpoint. Tax and other interests eating away at profits would result in less attractive balance sheet and thus investment.

I live in a country where you pay high tax and don't get shit in return.

If you can get away with it, do it tbh.

I'm not a business man, so this is just coming from my personal opinion I guess.

Really its hard for me to answer, because in one hand I think that paying honest taxes in the country which you live is a civic duty, hopefully the government is honest those funds go to improve or maintain your quality of life. On the other hand, if you live in a country that is just so blatantly corrupt and the taxes are going nowhere except a few people's bank account then I say fuck it, keep that extra money. Launder it well, or use it to make yourself strong enough not to be really damaged if the government finds out. If the latter is the choice, hopefully the person is good enough to use that money to improve their community themselves since their government wont.

I believe taxes should be paid in a majority of cases, if there's a legal loophole I suppose there's nothing technically wrong with it.

Philosophically though is a whole other argument, what is wrong? what is right?

Morally very wrong. These are the companies that SHOULD be paying taxes since their profits are insanely high. they end up paying zero while normal civilians who can just make it to next month have to carry the tax weight
