Strength Training

Okay, i am currently raising strength/slayer and want to know what is best weapon to raise with.

Dragon scim is ur best bet or godsword if u have it

 

Dragon Scimitar or a Saradomin godsword are your best options.

Reasons:

• Dragon Scimitar
  1. It's fast and hits comparably high.
  2. Inexpensive
  3. Easy to get
  4. With a DFS it's amazingly good, DFS is preferably charged fully.
• Saradomin Godsword
  1. It's very fast, like a Dragon Scimitar
  2. It hits high, like a god sword. Maybe a bit lower.
  3. The special attack dominates

That's my opinion there.

 

I am not a fan of SS at all. In my honest opinion, I think it's rubbish. I imagine your best bet will be something like the BGS, but you will be getting a different answer from everybody.

But Godswords are just too slow.

 

Ye i meen SS is pretty good, but id stick with d scim, like he said godswords are far too slow, even if they do have good hits u can strike twice with a dscim within the time it takes to strike once with a gs..

Its same Speed/Power of a Whip
SAME STR BONUSES as a Whip..
and.. IT CAN TRAIN STRENGTH.

Its probabley the best weopon for training strength becuase the whip is great, however it doesnt train strength, and the SS is the same as a whip exept it can train strength. Godswords hit to slow, D scimmy isn't powerfull enough... Go with the SS.

D scimi is good, SS is great, BGS is best.

 

dragon scimitar hits more often than saradomin sword but saradomin sword hits higher, i think godswords are out of the question until 90+strength, so choose dscim or sara sword

 

Armadyl is most voted, any one care to explain why so good?

 

If all your doing is training strength i sayd the d skim sheild combo, and for specials use the Armadyl. People voted it cuz its special which makes u hit like 20percent higher or something like that and not to mention its High str bonus but its basically a 2h sword speed wise I think

 

Obby sword+beserker neckalce.

 

AGS if you can afford it.
Otherwise DFS + D scim

I myself have had all the weapons up there (Disregarding the Zammy GS) The BGS is ok- but the full special is bad. The Saradomin SWORD or an AGS would be your best bet. It is solely preference.

 

scimmy + rune defender or ss

 

Err rune defender, why rune defender when i have posted DFS?

 

The SS swings as fast as a whip, but has no room for a shield / defender.

It depends on your preference, but either SS or D Scim + DFS.
