Robert, try switching Vista to classic mode - this is very important. Let me know if that helps, if not send a screenshot of your computer screen when in Vista Classic.

Vista users, remember to follow the instructions on the support page at www.robotzindisguise.com for using the bot under Vista. Unfortunately these are problems with the Vista operating system and I can't do anything about it, but you'll be pleased to know the bot works fine when Vista is set to classic, I've done a lot of my recent testing of the bot under Vista Classic.

 

it doesnt let me use the credit card i used last time to buy credit says "This credit card cannon be used for this transaction."

and it seems that the over all point of all the delays, which was to limit the number of problems with the release of the bot was an epic fail.

unless all the problems people are having are all just minor.

im running xp to no avail. I have run this bot for like 50 hours, so I know how to set it up. I think it may be something with either 1)How the servers respond to us connecting, or 2)the bot has something wrong with the code. I am sure its option 1 though since you ran successful tests.

If there's any problems they will be ironed out shortly, and there will be more updates over the weekend for Tele to improve rate of points earned, and reliability.

Thanks Robert, I can see the cause of this problem now it's related to the way the applet is displayed on your screen. I will fix it now, I'll let you know when it's done, if this is happening for you it's likely it is also the case for other people. Should be done in like 20 minutes. In the mean-time you could try using IE, I'm not sure if that will fix it but it's certainly possible, if that helps let me know but I'll fix it anyway, shouldn't be too hard.

 

Well it seems now isnt really a good time to download the bot seeing as there are all these small bugs. hopefully over the weekend robotz will have time to fix everything. By monday ill try downloading it again.

i paid for 200 hours a while back, i had them for a couple days and used a few minutes, then they disappeared. i would just state the whole problem here, but it will probably include verifying i did pay using paypal, and i don't exactly want to make my paypal public...

 

You filed a dispute on paypal. I will waive the charge for the minutes you did use, but haven't payed for, but if you file another dispute you will be banned from RID.

If you check your PayPal there will be a record of it, I asked you for information regarding your dispute at the time, to no avail.

EDIT: Robert, tested it and whereas it didn't work before with your display, it is now working for me under your display. If you're set to classic and deleted your temporary internet files before you downloaded, then I guess I'll re-compile it but I'm pretty sure this should work for you. Two people have been using the first draft of the bot to earn 60 tele points, and 18 tele points so far in the past 15-45 minutes, but would like to hear from the people who had problems with it, to see if the new version online now, has helped fix the problem for them. Thanks, and thank you to Robert for helping me out with the screenshots, I've uploaded it, check it's version 3.91 and if it doesn't work still I'll find out what's going on tomorrow, when I have more time.

 

hey rid i have been using the bot for bout 15-30 mins now and have earned about 20 points but it keeps turning off after a little whats wrong? dill612

The bot just needs some more work, as you know it's still in development. There's a few things that cause it to terminate early, I've not had time today but over the weekend I'll address these issues and you'll be able to use it for hours consecutively. It's still fine though, it won't quit half way through a maze or anything, you'll get a good return of points, it just won't work as long as you want it to just yet.

 

im sorry you didn't understand, but the dispute didn't actually go through, please read the whole post, i spent a while on it..
i filed a dispute because after i bought it you were updating for a long time, and people told me you weren't going to update it again, on your website you said this...
"If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you are entitled to a full refund before the first five hours credit have been used."
i tried to contact you about this but you wouldn't reply, leading me to believe you had actually stop updating, and the bot was dead.

after that i filed a claim and stated why i was, you replied apologizing for not replying earlier and explaining the new bot WAS comming.

"I can give you a refund for the remainder of the 200 hours on your account.

It's up to you, please let me know and sorry for not getting in touch sooner."

you posted that message on May 11, i was on vacation at the time and got back a couple days later, seeing the message was proof you had not quit, and i let the dispute time out on may 18th, partly because paypal said if the dispute was resolved i should let it drop, and so the claim wouldn't appear as fraud on either of our paypal accounts.

I am truly sorry this caused so much confusion, i thought by letting the dispute close it would tell you, but i guess it only tells the creator. from the couple minutes i used the old bot it was amazing, and if you do give me my hours back i will be gladly buying 200 more,,,and depending if i can sell my ipod or not, maybe a big ol' ∞ =p

it is working for me, it just ends early.. i got a maze done and it closed out. another problem, when you make it pause, the timer comes up and counts down every second. well, a different window kind of thing comes up and closes every second. if you are talking to someone on runescape, or just typing on another page or something, it de selects the page you are on and goes back to it. so.. if you are typing, you have to click back on the page every second.

im sure i could have explained it better, and shorter.. but whatever =P

 

Same thing happens to me. I'm on vista classic and when i start it it closes, then a tab at the bottom appears and counts down from 00:15 when it finishes it starts again..

 

mine logs out a lot, like after it finishes a maze.. then logs back in.

also, it doesn't start back up when the timer is over.

 

is 100 hours generally enough for 84-94 mage?
