Older versions of RSBot DO NOT WORK.

I have 3.24, and it still did the thing where it said 3.24, then never went past that. They don't work.

 

no duh rsbot is a java bot and is updated almost every update runescape has btw it is way past 3.24 now its like #412 i unno in the 400s anyways and u have to keep svn up to date!

 

Actually, you must not know what is going on. RSBot is down for a week. The latest version is 3.29 for your information. People wanted to see if older versions worked.

 

I tried to run older versions but it just made me look dumb.

Because RuneScape has updated in a lot of ways, I guess bigger then normal... or there is a flaw in the bot

 

No, nothing to do with that.

The RSbot site went down from the over usage of CPU on their Shared hosting server (they used shared so it fucked up the other sites on the same server) so the hosting company cut them down (which stopped the rsbot update since it came from the rsbot.com site)
Speljohan is talking about completely stopping the production of RSBOT1 and focusing on rsbot2. We might in 1 week see the opening of RSbot2. But basicly Siteground (the hosting company) said they could not use all the CPU they where using and stopped the site.

 

Ohh my bad... 97% of the time a bot goes down is because it needs to be updated.... sorry

the problem was that the rsbot had to update every 2-3 days and the amount of poeple that used the auto update at the same time... i guess it just overloaded the server.

 

ill try removing the autoupdate thing, c if it works

 

Newest version is 330. Everything seems to be working fine for me...

 

Bots stop working and need to be updated because Jagex keeps chaging their program, which results in bots being unable to understand it and interact properly with it.

What that means is that you're out of luck until it's updated, unless you know how to fix it yourself.
