For all you idiots who haven't taken a math class before. Pi is an irrational number, and i is imaginary, for the square root of -1, or -1^(1/2).

There is nothing to be figured out. There is no way to find a or b, when your not saying it equals anything. This question is mearly a simply "please simplify" question.

Look at a year 12, 3 unit maths paper, you will shit your pants.

Maths in school is very basic, even if you do extension maths.

 

Without maths there is no physics.
