getting up that pesky mining

well there are alot of suggestions about mining but hopefully i can help. im no expert but i know a little but about the skill.

1-99 guide~

well to start your going to either want to be in the lumbridge mine where the mining tutor is or in varrock depending on if you sell your ores or not. if you are planning on selling your mined items then i suggest doing rune mysteries and mining rune essence to bout level 25
otherwise

from1-25 mine some tin and copper YAY
the tin and copper give 17.5xp ea
dont mine iron just yet you wont get the ore very fast.

from 25-40
well if you want you can mine some iron and coal and smelt them
so you can make some money $$$$
coal is at level 30 and iron 15
coal: 50xp iron: 35
OR you can do it the rather slow way and mine pure essence if your a member
but if your a f2p then thats too bad your stuck with plain old normal ess

40-55
well if you wana do shilo village (members) be my guest
mine those gem rocks but wear an amulet of glory it makes it a lot faster
they give 60xp each gem. you CANNOT mine onyx or d-stone.
BUT you can mine all gems up to diamond yay

gold is another option but there arn't many gold rocks for f2p
the only place i can think of is in the mining pit in al kharid.

you can also keep going with the whole mining coal and iron thing good xp and over time good money or smithing xp.

theres also another alternative for those members.
minng granite is very fast and gives wonderfull xp.
you can find granite in the quarry in the giant desert past the shanty gate in al kharid (south part)
granite 500g is 50xp
middle size is 60xp
biggest size is 75xp
nut be aware it requires 45 mining to do this and the rocks you get are completely random.

also in the quarry is a level 40 rock called sandstone it gives 60xp and personally i do not suggest it.
and for the quarry BRING WATERSKINS available at your local shanty area
which is south of al kharid for those of you who skipped that.

55-70
wow man your at 55 now i suppose...........

well now you can mine mith
this would be a happy thing if it wasnt the same price as coal now but anyways

you can do anything in the previous sections i still suggest granite
and once you get 60 you can go in the mining guild and mine coal really close to the bank upstairs.
mith: 80xp each

70-85
well i am no expert from this point on my mining is only 74

now i STILL suggest granite or iron powermining. but its all up to you these are the most annoying levels from 70+

well if you maintaned a good mininig and smithing level then they should be close together.... soo if your smithing is 50 then i suggest making mith bars
70 then its addy bars this is mainly for cash and so you dont get too bored of mining.

85-99
well if you have no life by now you might wana keep going to 99.
i know what your thinking wow granite is the perfect thing for this
and you are right or mix and match.

rune or isnt a great suggestion for now days there never there and they only give 125xp and take forever to mine WHO WANTS THAT? not me. so granite it is yay, or iron

99-
yay you have no life

PIcs like others have said. And I would suggest changing colors and sizes, for like the levels. Like:
Levels 40-55
Something to that effect so it looks better.

 

Add some pictures and it might be a good guide :O

Its an alright guide but this method is inefficient and slow imo.

Need to make it easier to read.
It's all text and it's all the same color and size. Makes it boring.
You should be able to just scan through it really fast and get the main idea, but without pics it's hard to do.

 

Needs some visual appeal.

 

the guide u wrote is known by 99 percent of the people playing runescape. nothing special like exp per hour or pics.
