RID you could partition a small space of say 200-500mb if you have the room and use tinyxp (100mb install) to duel boot into windows thus being able to recover your files. or you can change the boot priotirty to an external drive.

Yes, if I was able to access the hard-drive to make a new partition and wanted to stick with the old pc tinyxp would be very useful. I'm not bothered about being able to boot, I have a new computer, just wanted the files and I'm using the hard-disk now to backup my new pc, rather than recover the old one. Good news, got my hard-drive hooked up, all the files are fully intact. That saves me having to redo 3 weeks of work, and saves you guys having to wait an extra few weeks.
What I need to do now is integrate my work from the past few days with the older stuff, and run a final set of tests, make a few adjustments if neccessary, before releasing the minigames. Altogether that's just a few hours work before the new RID goes online. It won't have all 4 games, I will probably release tele today, alch tomorrow or the day after, a few days after that graveyard, then a week or 2 later echant. It is a lot of work, but nearing completion, it won't be long now till you can see the result of all the work that's gone into the update the past few months.

A problem with my wireless network is preventing me from accessing the net on my new pc (I'm having to go via my older computer + ethernet to give you this message), if I can get this fixed within the next two hours or so, there's a good chance the first mini-games will come out tonight - but I only have a few hours available to work on it today, so if it takes a long time to fix, it may well not come out till tomorrow - just letting you guys know incase it doesn't come out tonight then you'll know what's going on.

 

Okay then What's the problem with your network maybe we can help?
Anyway if you get it all done, please transfer some of the hours to another account of mine, pm sent a week ago or so. How come enchant would take so long? Is the long time associated with the XP mode? If so could you release the dragonstone one before?

Why cant you put it onto a memory stick and then upload it using your old computer which the internet does work on? Just a suggestion. I hope it does come out today

 

Not unless you know of any potential compatibility issues between macbook and a belkin n1 vision wireless router, and how to fix it. I'm pretty sure I've got this one, updated the firmware on the router and I hear there's some airport updates I can get via ethernet, just working through the steps atm, I am new to mac but it's been very straightforward so far and I'm pretty sure I'll have it set up within the hour.

I may not have time to go through mails and make changes to RID accounts till tomorrow but I'll do it as soon as the bot is online and I have time. Thanks for your patience

I'm planning to only start selling hours again when the programming is all complete. That will be probably be in two weeks or so. If you are an existing customer, I could set up something to top up your hours in the mean-time but I'll look into that when I manage to free up some time.

Upgrading, experimenting with all kinds of settings, etc, hasn't helped me with the internet - it looks like a hardware problem. I'm giving up on the wireless, just going to plug into the ethernet whenever I can, I'll be able to get these tests done and make the final adjustments for the release of telekinetic tomorrow, alch within 2 days after, grave a few days later then enchant. Next you'll hear from me is tomorrow when the first minigame is online. Thanks

to summarise what RID has said:

Telekinetic to come out in a few hours today or tmro
Alch day or 2 after that
Graveyard few days after alch
Enchant few weeks after (lets say 2 weeks)

Do existing customers get bonus hours for the delays? how many? if so.

There's a few compatibility issues with Java on the mac that need sorted out. It's taken a lot of time out of my day, but I hope that I'll be able to get around it and release Telekinetic in about 5-6 hours time.

 

New customers wont be aloud to purchase time for another 2 weeks.....

EDIT: i recently came across a script for the mage arena on RSBOT i realise its probably not going to be anywhere near as good as RID but i would still like to use it for a bit. the RSbot site went down and they have completely revamped it so all the old scripts are gone, if anyone can post the script here that would be great.

I do have them, but i suggest NOT using it, many ppl got banned from using it.

I really hope its going to be released today, if it gets, i think people will shut up for atleast few days
