Another 2012 coincidence?

Anyways another reason why 2012 is special and unlike any other date. The world won't end but something will happen. Many civilizations and cultures not just the Mayan have talked about 2012 and now its also predicted that by the summer of 2012 most of the Arctic ice will be gone!

That's pretty impossible when in the last 100 years, the Earth has warmed only 0.74 degrees Celsius.

Y2K was not bullshit. The reason nothing happened was because all the necessary precautions to update software and everything happened before. Theres was a couple of events that happened on Y2K just nothing significant.

666 has more to do with religion.

2012 on the other hand has been predicted by different cultures and people.
Not only but isn't also a coincidence that were close to 2012 and theres a weakening global economy and global warming (whether it be man made or not its still there and isn't going away anytime soon)

Why is everyone making a big deal out of this? Omg! THE MAYANS HAVEN'T HAD IT DATED ON THEIR CALENDARS!!! Wtf does that have anything to do with this topic.
