    Hey, i got a new car last week, when i take the fuel cap off it goes "pshhhh" from all the air or fumes escaping w/e. I think it sounds cool lol, but i'm 99% sure my old car doesn't do that. Anyone know why my new car does and my old car doesn't?

    Isn't it supposed to go "pshhhhh", that indicates it's normal. Something was wrong with your old car.

    My old car was brand new though, so i doubt anything was wrong with that one.

    Yeah but, when pressure is built and you decide to open and release it, it will go "pshhhhh".

    Maybe the old car had a leak?

    Or maybe, i have no idea what i'm talking about.

    yeah, i was wondering if it had anything to do with my new car being a performance car. Maybe my old car did the same but just not as loudly or for as long lol.

    Old car was a Holden Barina (2008) and my new car is a Nissan Skyline (1995).

    It has a couple mods but nothing major. Like it has an exhaust system, heavy duty clutch etc.

    I am pretty sure it's all normal. Most cars do, but some do not. Or maybe you just never noticed it or seen it when it done it on the other one.
