Myspace overlay

Some guy posted his myspace design earlier, so I'll post mine that i've been working on for a few days.

not pixel perfect, but I really don't give a crap, myspace drives me insane when coding around its many flaws and whatnot... I much prefer the nice old sandbox of regular web design... speaking of which *goes back to web porjects*



CnC and whatnot - it works in all browsers, but guess what, no link for you, it's my personal myspace so it's not for you internet kiddlywinks.

I've gotta write up some stuff to replace the dummy ipsum and add a few more graphics, but that's pretty much it... the navigation works with rollovers, etc.

WOW, really nice man! You've done a great job, i cant say what you should do better, maybe the black bg some artistic things?

An overall of 9.75/10! (10/10 if the bg doesnt look so empty)

could i ask why in all the web designs preview and what not have the same text that includes "lorem ipsum bla bla bla"

 

Lorem Ipsum is dummy text, it means nothing, it's only there to demonstrate what the text looks like.

WHY DOES EVERYONE USE THAT FLORAL PATTERN NOWADAYS? I do like the floral brushes though.

I love it though. I mainly learn from you and VisonEx, so I love seeing your shit. But now I see what you mean by having a div without having it be a single image. This is a different style of div. I like it.

Holy shit dude, good taste in music. I love IKTPQ (R.I.P. :'( ) and Parkway Drive. It wouldn't be so thrilling if I liked a huge variety of bands, but I only like around 15 different bands, and it's odd that of those 15, you have 2 of them up there. Ah, I'm just blabbing on. But yeah, awesome job, as usual.

It's awesome, it really is. But that BG is used a lot now days.

If I had you're skills and such, I'd make my own new BG that went with the text

 

The navigation error is due to an absolute positioning on the comment area, when I get a spare moment i'll fix it.

 

btw, that same background is in your sig FYI

and that is truly amazing. If I could code myspace I would give it a go.
