No, it's a global convention that takes place, I think yearly, and it costs like 30-40,000$ USD to attend.

 

I love this site. It should be more famous then it is.

It's a convention that takes place I believe once a year, and the people who have developed ideas to help better mankind give lectures.

And these are the recorded lectures.

40k is not much to these people, cause if I remember correctly it costs 100k$ to give a lecture.

 

WOW! these people probably take years to come up with the lectures. am i right? or do they take shorter time.

 

Iunno, but they're kick ass. Stephen Hawking was on there once.


The video about the invention of the double helix kicks ass, and all the stem cell research ones are pretty cool..

One lady talked about her experience in a stroke... being a brain scientist and having a stroke must have been fantastic XD.

 

These people must love what they do tbh.

 

Why would I want to use my home time to listen to lectures, no matter pay for them?

 

Some people enjoy listening to them and discussing them with others.

 

Because you have no intelligence, and you've got to learn some times.
