    Vegetarians? Why?

It's not that i don't feel bad for the little guys.
They just taste so damn good.
If they didn't want to be eaten, then they need to stop tasting good. ;]
And seeing as that's pretty difficult.
    Hail bacon!

I think they do it because they feel it isn't right to kill animals. But if you think about it, slaughter houses will keep killing the animals, and the stores will keep buying the meat. I mean hey, It's already dead, why not eat it?

I agree, If they don't eat it, All it's going to do is mean the animals die in vain.
The slaughter houses keep getting paid either way.
    Why not just enjoy it?
I mean, yes it sucks for the animals, But that's the food chain

    Vegetarians? Why?

Vegetarians are typically skinny, not well nourished, and weak. Humans need meat to live HEALTHY. Morally, it doesn't really matter, we kill to survive.

    Vegetarians? Why?

I think we should all only eat meat from animals which were treated right and had a good live where they could live freely!

    Vegetarians? Why?

I enjoy my salad, vegetables, and fruit, but only eating those would get so tiring and boring after a few weeks. But they think it's healthy. I had a vegan health teacher who preached to us every day about how healthy he was even though he was the skinniest person in the school (yes including students). And for those of you who don't know what a vegan is, they're like super vegetarians. If it is not 1,000,000% organic they will not eat it

    Vegetarians? Why?

I'm a vegetarian and I'm 6ft 155 lbs, not skinny or weak at all.
Humans do not need meat to be healthy, so in the future lets not lie.
I'm not condemning those who eat meat, as I do not see animals having rights, I just find it disgusting.

    Vegetarians? Why?

I'm the polar opposite of that description, as are several of my friends. One of my relatives is a vegan and he's the fittest person I've ever met in my life. I don't need to just use anecdotes either, try and find scientific evidence to prove that vegetarians are typically unhealthy - there isn't any.

Today humans don't kill to survive, they kill to eat tasty meat, and that's fine if you're not bothered by the ethics of it.

    EDIT:
Way to try and get your post count up there.

    Vegetarians? Why?

Reasons they do it: Watching animals die on TV or IRL is very sad to look at, I've seen it but I'm still not a veggy because meat just tastes way too good and when it's a cooked piece of meat on the plate it doesn't really remind me of an animal, but whoever said meat is not necessary and veggies are good enough is wrong because meat contains many essential nutrients, that's why vegetarians take vitamin pill since they don't get all their nutrients.

    Vegetarians? Why?

A vegetarian or vegan diet can easily meet every nutrient requirement, no matter what the age of the person is, whether they're pregnant or not etc. Vegetarians DO NOT need to take vitamin pills.

    Hey Idiot.
    Chicken Is Not Meat?
Its Poultry, Just Like How Turkey Isn't Meat Either.
    Its Simply Poultry.

And If You Think About It, There is No True Vegetarian.
Everyone Touches Something From Meat, Or Takes It In Somehow.
Like Such As Make Up Etc.
I Just Abide From Eating Pork, Beef Etc.

    Vegetarians? Why?

Certain nutrients only found in fattening meat is necessary for your immune-system. It's more likely that you won't live past the 50's if you don't eat meat in the teenage years.

That is complete rubbish (link to study that proves it is rubbish: http://www.adajournal.org/article/PIIS0002822303002943/fulltext).

Studies show that vegetarians have a lower mortality rate than meat eaters, we vegetarians tend to have lower blood pressure, a lower BMI, lower risk of obesity, lower cholesterol, and 25% less likely to get coronary heart disease. You can get all the nutrients they need for all stages of the life cycle including adolescence if you have a balanced vegetarian/vegan diet.
