I have two computers one internet help!

Well as you can see I have two computers and one internetas they are being used at the same time connected to a dlink router wired and IT LAGS A WHOLE Lot is there any way to stop the lag?

 

Don't think so because you guys are both sharing the same internet.

 

Ummm. Maybe try checking your router settings and try seeing if you can make two different connections for each computer?

To stop the lag, unplug 1 computer.

To reduce the lag you can setup a separate connection in your router, by logging into your Default Gateway and editing the settings. Although it may still lag a little, it'll still help a lot.

What are you trying to do when they lag?

 

Playing like couter strike anything connected to the internet lags?

 

Try 10.1.1.1 to get into your router controls, use the username admin and pass admin, else username admin pass 1234. Write back if you can access it.

 

get faster internet. <_<

 

^^ yeah, but it will allways lack speed with two computers at once. Especially playing games/downloading stuff etc. Also it may not be possible.
