Ok Hi there, this is my guide to getting 99 hunter, the best way.
In this guide i will tell you the best ways to level up and the best hunting area's.
My guide includes pictures for all the hunting technique's i describe.

1 - 9 Hunter

Snare Crimson Swifts south of Yanille

You will need: Bird snare



9 - 19 Hunter
___________________

Snare Copper Longtails Northwest of Grand tree next to the falconary.

You will need: Bird Snare



19 - 29 Hunter
______________________

Snare tropical wagtails south of yanille.

You will need: bird snare, 2 bird snares at 20 hunting.



29 - 53 Hunter

Trap swamp lizards/green salamanders in the morytania swamp near canifis

You will need: Nets and ropes, at 40 hunting you can lay 3 traps.
Also this is a very good money maker, from 29 - 53 you hunt around 700 - 800 swamp lizards, and since they sell for just over 1k each it's not a bad money maker



53 - 63 hunter

Trap Grey Chinchompa's North of grand tree above Eagles Peak

You will need: Box traps, take 5 at least incase you lose some.
From 53 - 63 hunter you get around 1100 grey chins. about 450k worth.



63 - 99 Hunter

Obviously the most known way, hunt red chins south of yanille
When you reach 99 you will have got around 48k chins worth about 34m. Big money!

Notice, it can get very busy at this spot so you may have to hop worlds sometimes.
You will need: Box traps

You will be able to lay 4 box traps by now, and i recommend the best way to lay them out
is to make a sqaure with 1 gap in between each box and then stand yourself in the center.

Another Method

Another way which is i think 'THE' best money maker in the game, is to catch dragon imps!
This require's 83 hunter and you will need a butterfly net, and some impling jars and your set to make up to 10mil per hour! [10m possible at 99 hunter]

Here are some locations where dragon implings have been spotted:

- Karamja - Shilo Village
- South of Piscatores
- North of the Catherby
- Dwarven Mines entrance
- Castle wars, and at the Ogre's
- The grotto in the morytania swamps.
- Al-Kharid, the Duel-Arena entrance
- Heroe's guild, Warriors guild
- Canifis, Slayer Tower and Fenkenstains Castle
- Seers Village, seers bank, Maple trees behind bank
- South of Rellekka
- Ardounge Zoo
- Grand Tree
- Ranger Guild and Fishing Guild
- Feldip Hills
- East of Varrock
- In Falador and at the air altar
- Lumbridge Swamps
- Draynor prison and the Willows at Draynor bank
- Lumbridge at the sheeps, cows and chickens
- Mos Le Harmless [probably the best place!]
- Kharazi Jungle

Very, very short. All good guide though 6/10 as it is quite brief.Though there is a good use of pictures.

Well theres faster methods to get 99 hunter, but not so much earning (i mean faster than chins, but u do not make any cash). It is red salamanders.

Lol you're not even able to hunt red chins on Right Road account . But nice guide a bit short but good for ppl who dont know how to train hunter.

Yeah i just started hunter a couple days ago, read alot about it first

When i get to 63 though i'm just gonna bomb it thought to 99 (hopefully)
Also, have edited the guide about a different method you can take up at 83.

We'll, hunter is a self explanatory skill and it's very easy. Yet it doesn't hurt to have a decently done guide created. Also, try using photobucket to upload your pictures.

 

Actualy it would take ages to get 99 hunting with dragon implings. So I wouldnt say that as a method to 99. You can catch dragon implings at hunter level 80, with hunter potion.

And after You reach 80hunter, You will start being bored. Or that happened to me, and many of my friends. We had 10m rs cash competition, 1st who gets 99, wins them. And no-one got 99, there was 8ppl trying it.

But if You like the skill, it is very fun to train. But when i started hunter, I liked it, but chinchompa worlds was veeery crowded :s
