Sock5 proxies vs VPN

What do you guys prefer, and what do you guys think is better to use?

Would one be better to use to recude the ban risk?

VPN, who knows how many people are sharing that same IP.

My buddy I know very well swears by the VPN he uses.

 

Yeah i also heard good stories of people using vpn. So thats why i was curious

 

Weird to me, I would think it would draw a lot of attention.

 

Maybe jagex can detect if you are using a proxy and that will mean a redflag. For example netflix knows when using a proxy but when using vpn it cannot detect it.

 

How so? That’s interesting if so lol. Are VPN all residential IP or something.

 

Yes thats why it works for netflix/hbo accounts to play on. Maybe jagex can detect that as well, which would make a lot of sense. Maybe thats why vpn might actually be safer and people bot on it without a problem

Dedicated SOCKS5 proxies which aren't being used by others. VPNs are mostly shared and many people could be sharing the same IP as you.

 

Not if you have a dedicated vpn and then its from a home ip adres instead of a proxy as well

 

As stated by China, I've botted 5 99's coming to botting my 6th one now without any issue from using my VPN, I think it's all a matter of what type of VPN you use, free ones do come with a lot of shared IP-addresses were as the more expensive and bigger VPNs try and keep their connections limited to keep high speeds.
