    Can anyone link me to a good book or tutorial on directx for visual basic im currently using vb 2008 and directx 9.

    Need Direcx Tutorial/Ebook
    DirectX is a core set of graphical libraries, you won't get very far with it off the basics. You are best off utilising an engine that has already been made with DirectX and OpenGL capabilities, such as Irrlicht (http://irrlicht.sf.net/). Irrlicht has it's own tutorial, and is extremely easy to use as a 3D engine. It has support for .Net, I believe.
