Consciences can be bought. Not necessarily those of scientists/engineers, but those of the people who had to know.

Osama bin Laden was involved in the attacks, certainly. The question is, however, whether or not somebody else was involved as well.

I don't know that other civilian agencies had to know about a conspiracy, I don't even know that BBC was supposed to know. Perhaps it was "leaked" to one reporter on purpose, perhaps it was an entirely coincidental reporting. I just find it odd.

 

I was in Greece ( Europe ) Watching T.V at The time, while every channel was talking about 9/11. But it was like 2:00 P.M for me because different time zones, I was like Holy Shit !!!

Agreed. So why have all the scientists who haven't been bought off concluded that 9/11 was the result of planes crashing into the buildings, and not bombs in the basement?

Involved in what way? Al Qaeda members hijacked planes and flew them into the twin towers. The twin towers fell. Where does the US government come into it?

It wasn't unreasonable to expect some buildings to fall, it was probably just a Freudian slip. And yes - why would any reporters be told ahead of time? It's ridiculous.

I don't think a reporter would be told in as many words "Tower 7 is about to collapse" - it would probably be something a bit more subtle than that, an anonymous tip-off to a supervisor, perhaps.

But as the scientist have PROVEN, it didn't need to take EXPLOSIVES in the towers to bring them down. All they needed were PLANES, which is what the AL QUEDA hijacked. The government had nothing to do with it..

Standing in a line at school to get on a bus to go home, The principal made an announcement to ask our parents what happened, and i ran outside and my friend said there was an explosion

I was at lunch.

People at our highschool said it came up on the TV in the commons.

 

I was home sick, I used to be home 'sick' a lot. Then I heard my mom crying upstairs.

 

I did what I always do, went to school, worked out at the local gym, did my homeworks, played runescape, and went to bed... And yes, I also ate.

 

I was sitting in school and remember the principal coming on over the intercom and telling us what had happened. Then the next day like the whole school just talked about it in their classrooms, how we felt about it and whatnot.

The same claim is made by global warming deniers. "Scientists are too embarrassed to go against the consensus"... we know how much validity that claim has.

But there weren't any. You know, if explosives were responsible for any "freefall" collapses, they would have had to have been secreted all over the target building. Also - why would the US government get involved if they had foreknowledge that Al Qaeda was going to fly planes into the towers?

It could have been a Freudian slip at some level, e.g. a bigwig might have told someone to draft a report on the building collapsing by mistake. I don't know though, the BBC have been crap about explaining their idiocy, which does look suspicious, but it is probably an attempt to cover their own asses.

However, I can't find an explanation for why the perpetrators would tell the media, it wouldn't have been the logical thing to do.

 

I actually need to get back into the global warming debate. I'm not so certain that the carbon-temperature rises have a causal relationship.

Well, you can't know that there weren't explosives in the building.

The theory goes that there were explosives all over. During videos of the building's collapse, we can see something like puffs of smoke shooting out of the sides of the towers, some distance ahead of the explosion.

I suppose it could have been.

Their failure to explain properly does look suspicious, but what I find the most suspicious is the reporting itself. I mean, nobody really expected this sort of thing to happen (outside of the CIA/entire U.S. intelligence force, lol) - collapsing buildings are fairly rare.

You're right, it would have been idiotic. The smart thing would be to involve as few people as possible.

I live in australia so i didnt hear much about is straight away, But people on youtube have analysed the 9/11 closely and you can see what looks like people jumping out of the plane.. Dont know much about it because im only 12.

Granted, nothing can be ruled out, but my dismissal of it was just because I consider the possibility to be so small. The actual evidence for there being explosives just doesn't exist, a point I'm about to come onto...

I'm sure many "physicists" agree that these puffs of smoke prove the presence of explosives There is actually a lack of high blast pressures in the collapse, since we don't see the perimeter walls immediately blowing out in the conventional way. I suppose those who planted the explosives could have carefully engineered a way to make it look like the building came down due to the planes... but why? If the US government knew that Al Qaeda was going to fly planes into the buildings, why would the Bush Administration have helped them by planting explosives there too? It makes zero sense. Who planted all these explosives anyway? Staff working at the WTC?

Considering that WTC 1 and 2 had fell 7 hours before WTC 7, I don't think it would be completely bizarre for a mistake to be made in that vein. The building had been burning all day, and firefighters were too busy to attack the flames. It just makes no sense for there to be any explosives there are at.
