seriously FORCE NEW USERS TO READ A TUTORIAL its a WIN-WIN idea

new users wont get scammed as much

old users wont get bothered by new users claiming they scammed them when in reality it was an imposter!!

seriously, half the people i do trades with DONT EVEN BOTHER ASKING FOR A PM

srry if this has been posted before but i just had to let it out

OK, so if not for scam prevention
make a tutorial on how to use the forum a few questions i've been asked recenty that you cant find answers to on the forum
- how to quote something and put it in sig
- how to get pictures to show up link/non-link
- how to put a link on a word or picture
- some people dont know about the "advanced" posting option
a tutorial would be useful to teach newcomers / people who dont use forums a lot these things.

 

good idea, just have some necessary screens of text they go through once when they create an account before accessing the forums.

 

just like viper stated there are many stickies on here and there are of course sythe.org rules if you dont read those your at loss because its absolutely your fault that you didnt read them

"SCAMM ME PLEASE, YOU CAN SINCE IM STUPID "

as viper said on another thread... if a leecher is stupid enough to be scammer by a importer or for going first just for being a leecher, he deserve to be scammed LOLZ

 

Goo d ida make a "SUPER GUIDE" for sythe teaching you sules and stuff and how to use the cool things it has to offer

 

Well dude, no one's gonna read a guide... I mean, I would never read a guide from some random forum I just joined.

The leecher has to learn from their mistakes, or at least use common sense. They joined these forums at a risk.

I agree with thatswhatshesaid.. You wouldnt read a guide from some randomer unless it was a mod, admin etc..
But still you gotta learn from mistakes

Most people would skip through it anyway,whats the point

 

Tutorials are for games. Threads for help are for forums.

 

Like most have said, people who get scammed would skip past and wouldn't even give the "Tutorial" a second look.
