[Web Design] Myspace div layout I made-

Made this for a sale. Took about 3 hours to design, and like, fuckin'...

a shitload of time coding it into myspace. Ran into like 50 errors and shit.

Anyways, check 'em out.



Not the best I've done, but a nice layout for a good customer. Tell me what you think.

It was a customer's order, I had nothing to do with the content. It was his request. My job was soley to make the layout.

 

The floral background is way over whored, the" godsdds" looks very strange. However, everything else seems alright.

Is it just coding ?

 

I like the lighting effects, HATE the background.

 

Photoshop, slicing, hosting, coding.

4 main steps altogether = pain in the ass.

It's a bit too dark though. Pretty good though.

 

The code is on the kid's myspace. I told him I wouldn't be going back on it again, so I will obey that and not go back on to grab the code. Why do you want to see it anyways?

Nice work, only it's only black-white, you should maybe make some of the 'space'-lines purple with blue and shining white for an nice effect!

Although, its not hard to make..
The 'space'-lines you can look up the internet, the you have made another layer with a pattern onto it and set the opacity of it very low
Also a layer with some 'blood'-brushes and thats about it....

So a 6/10 for the hard work

The design of your name is very nice, nice paly with the settings to create a nice 3D effect, thats great!

I charged $40 for the layout I made, and all the hours of work I put into coding it and fixing bugs and hosting images to make it work online.

Most people will take a first glance and shit their pants at the price. But they're not aware of the fact that services to host a div overlay from SCRATCH can go into thousands.

I gave this kid a huge deal.

 

Why are you hiding that code? What if it is just slices made in Photoshop? That is a huge possibility.

 

Er.. duh? What else could it be? And It's not that I'm "hiding" the code from the public.. it's just the code is on the kid's myspace. I'm not going back on his myspace without permission. I told him I wouldn't and I'll obey that.

And obviously it's slices made in photoshop.. durr. I don't get what you're trying to prove here. Lol.

 

its simple but cool

the only thing i would change is te text "gods dds" it doesnt look too good try out diferent methods, and i would add a nice splat in the right side like the 1 u did on the left and i think its too dark, but thats just me

ow and the runescape (applet??) has no head, its just a floating berseker and has no left leg...

btw i like your bg, its very nice
