Happy Birthday, also you guys saying you hope he dies are idiots. He's defending his country, and defending fuckheads like you, you should be grateful that someone is willing to risk their life for their country.

Well why go to war I see its benefits but with this new bill passing they will be pulling troops out and it doesnt seem like an effort needed. Um what else should I say well most of the world hates us and we are fighting a pointless war and should pull out because we just making people really mad idk Im not dissing you or those who give me my right and protect them I respect your choice and goodluck Im just stating an opinion

The main reason I am joining is in April, 2008, an IED, which is a roadside bomb, exploded and a killed one of my best friends in Afghanistan.

I have always been geared to war since September 11th, but my main reason really hyped me up. I believe that rat crap Al Queda deserves to die, they attacked my people, innocent people, and I need to avenge those who lost their lives and to keep terrorist attacks from happening in our country and even around the world.

From what I see, your going for vengeance? I'm sure many people have died fighting but you don't see their friends out there trying to avenge them. Once your out there, your not going to like it, nobody does, you will see things that will change you drastically. Do you really have what it takes to confront a human being and ending their lives? I don't think so.

    GET IT IN WRITING.

Honestly, I know I probably wont be able to change your mind, but you really don't sound like you have the right attitude going in. Going into the army with a mindset of vengeance is not the right way to go in. You should go in with the mindset of wanting to HELP the citizens of Afghanistan, as if posted in either Iraq of Afghanistan, you will be posted with the duty of protecting, and helping the citizens of the respective nations. The duty of a soldier in one of those countries is NOT to avenge the deaths of innocent Americans in the September 11, 2001 attacks, however is to establish a democratic system in which citizens are capable of voting for their elected officials. If we have the right to be there or not is another issue, however I hope you take some consideration, or thought to the reasons your are enlisting before you do.

Killing only leads to more killing. + The only how war is "justified" is that it is self-defence to your country, killing on vengence is aginst the law, and if you do something like it, you can be tried and placed in jail.

    Violence is not the answer.

He might not be going for vengeance, but to stop things like that, to happen again (that often)
