Your Thoughts About Heaven

Telling yourself to stop thinking about something results in your not thinking about it? Wow, it must be mag...er, God.

 

You will know what I believe in a sec:

He's referring to Revelation, but yeah he's a bit off.

Archangel Michael banished Satan to Hell after he tried to revolt against God with his corrupted "angels".

 

maybe he did, i like the ide about heaven being like grassland with rivers and everything is happy, a cows life lol, until the slaughter...

 

Heaven doesn't exist.

That is what I believe. I believe that when you die, nothing happens to you, or your physical body any more. There is no such thing as a soul - everything you feel is chemicals reacting in your brain, and hormones telling your body how to act. These biological instruction sets have confused people in to thinking that there must be a supernatural aspect of their mortal appearance, but such is far too stupid.

The funny thing is, people fear death. Let me explain why this is funny, it's really quite simple. Once you die, you don't know; you don't see, feel, touch, smell, hear, think, etc etc. Your consciousness is completely gone, as your body has ceased to function and the "instruction sets" which run your body are no longer in effect.

The reason religion is around is actually a couple of different points.

A) People are scared of death.
B) People are scared of what is "after death".
C) People have such a big fucking ego that they want to live forever.
D) The church wanted to control people.

Point C is especially relevent.

 

It exists for sure.

 

Why do you think Heaven exists?

 

Well to be honest i dont know,
I don't know if theres a good aswell.
I believe in fate and desteny.

Actually, i trust in myself and in what will come.
If i will ever face death in any way, i will do my best to fight it.

Heaven, if theres a god, there should be heaven.
I NEVER saw real proof about if there's a god.
So i don't think theres heaven right now, i will might change my toughts but just now, no i dont think theres heaven.

Who knows if there is a heaven, you come back to life or anything. I personally think there is some kind of thing close to heaven.

If there WAS a heaven, I'd imagine a paradise, me being my own god in a way.

Exactly. I would love to think there is an afterlife that we all go to but then my logic and thoughts kick in and tell me im being rediculous

 

I really don't know to tell you the truth.

I want to think that there is a heaven, because it is so hard for me to think about never waking up again. It confuses me.

Heaven to me is irrelevant because I am atheist.

The closest thing i can see to this "Heaven" or "Hell"

Is when you die you are somehow sent to another dimension? Thats the closest thing logically to "Heaven".

The mind fears the "Unknown" such as death. Thats why you were scared when you were a kid. You never "knew" what was in the darkness. When you got older you found out it was nothing.

 

My mom told me its when you get a new life and you have the freedom to do anything and its i guess like heaven

 

I don't really follow any religion.
I'd like to think that we'll be reborn or something, but I know that we just rot in the ground.

 

Well in my religion we believe that when someone dies they just stay in the ground till jugdement day or the second coming. And when that day comes some will be thrown into the lake of fire and others brought up to heaven.
