The last 2 days I have been mining alot of Granite (2kg + 5kg) and basically here is how you can Real World Trade:

The person who wan'ts to buy mils/items mine's alot of Granite (2kg + 5kg), as the prices of Granite (2kg) is about 5k and Granite (5kg) is about 10.5k people think oh great ill mine alot and sell to GE. However I looked into this at a different approach. Rather than trying to get genuine buyers why not just buy some cheap mils off people or even change money between accounts (Like I did).


An inventory of granite (5kg) can be upto 296.8k.

So basically collect alot of granite and trade it for money on other accounts/ use it when buying mils as this is a safe way of transfering. Unless prices go down which will probably start soon.

I have transfered 10mil now and I would just like to say that the granite may be a little time constraining but its the most safest transfer method to date as the granite is so easy to obtain.

How long to get a full inventory of the granite (big ones) ?

 

Respawns are very fast, but you don't always get the 5 kgs.

But wait.

If you mind for example 1K Granite (any kg) and it comes to around 10M.

You give your 10M worth granite for 10M from a seller of mils. that makes no sense. the loses no money. He makes 10M and $$ irl.

Explain?

 

The seller stays next to the person mining, and drops all the granite that he purchases from the miner.

 

that is stupid, why wouldn't you just sell the granite now in the ge and do bh, bh would be waaayyyyy faster

Because granite is junk and no-one will buy it.

 

No problem guys, I just thought that I won't exploit the method until I am finished with it. So basically I think Jagex is relying on the granite (500g) to go down from 1k so then the (2kg) and the (5kg) will follow meaning that RWT using this method is no longer possible.

And yes I know Bounty hunter is much faster but guys this is not against the rules, its only a flaw in Jagex's prices which has led to a major advantage. Also it can be time constraining but I am 99.99% sure you can't possibly get caught/ any risk involved with this method.

 

What mining level do you need to mine it?
And isnt banking a pain in the butt when it comes to granite?

 

Banking may be a pain but hey you can make upto 298.6k or w.e a trip.

 

Well, you could just trade him the granite, he could drop it as you mine more affter the trade is done. Just my opinion

Why would you drop it? You can chisel the 5kg blocks into 500g blocks, which are used for Summoning and can be sold (although slowly, due to the rush of "price glitch! imma RWT!" people).

Jagex updated the price of Granite 5kg from 10 gp to about 10.5k gp, to reflect the new mining update, which allows the larger Granite to be chiseled into smaller blocks.

 

Yes guys, as predicted it is now falling!

Guys mine/sell as soon as possible this will not stay this high price for long. Luckily I did my trading before it being majorly exposed .
