No. Your bogus method is BUSTED, and now you're (pathetically) trying to save face. Won't work.

You wasted many hours on your incorrect guide, taking all of the (mostly unnecessary) screen shots, typing everything up, defending your position against everybody who proved you wrong, and now saying you did it "for laughs".

The difference is that I'm right and you're wrong, as usual.

Oh, and thanks for deleting your guide. At least people who open your guide thread in the future won't be led down the

    :D

Now that the idiots have been dismissed, we'll get back to the original purpose of the guide, which is how to best use the Party Room to your advantage.

PRACTICAL USE (also added to the original post)

Obviously, if you're the only person in the room, there's no reason to go run to a cold zone, since you can stand anywhere and have the same chance of getting the item you're RWT to your other account.

The application of my method comes at real drop parties, where valuable items may be in the chest, and where a lot of players are trying to get them. When the drop party starts, where do most people tend to hang out?

They hang out near the chest, because they honk on the chest, checking it to see what's inside, they're watching Party Pete to get a head start on when the actual drop begins, or they want to check the chest while the drop is taking place to see if the valuable items are still there.

So more players are in the supposed "hot zone" than anywhere else. When a balloon drops, more players are going to see it and run to it and begin popping. That means that anybody in the "hot zone" is going to be competing with a LOT of other people to get the click that pops the balloon that MIGHT yield an item. Perhaps "hot zone" is the correct term in a different way: it's "hot" because there's HEAVY player traffic in that area. Unfortunately, that's not good for the chances of getting anything.

In contrast, fewer people, relatively, are in the supposed "cold zone". While there will still be a lot of people heading to every balloon that gets popped, the number is MUCH less than that in the "hot zone". So instead of fighting 15 people for every balloon, you might be fighting 6. That means that while your chances of getting something are still slim, you have twice as good a chance if you're standing far away from the chest (in the west third of the room) than if you're standing near the chest. Over many Party Room drops, that means you'll end up with more loot than the ones standing in the "hot (traffic) zone".

TIP: Clicking on the center of a square doesn't work if a 'three-balloon' combination falls on that square. You actually have to click on one of the three balloons. Jagex put that in to help stop those who use auto-clickers.

IVe spent hours taking screen shots?
The whole guide took me 15 minutes if that to make.

I then made 7M RSGP and $35 from it.

What have you gained spending hours trying to prove me wrong which you failed at? Nothing :)

It has nothing to do with zones at all, its about the number of people and number of balloons you pop. Did the person in the "cold zone" pop more balloons then the person in the "hot zone"?With 1 person the item, no matter where your popping will get it in the first 12 balloons, with 2 people within the first 24 total popped, etc...So stop argueing, and get your facts right.

Not at all, at the time the guide was written, the statements the guide had worked 100%, and the buyers were happy.
Not a single buyer disaproved of my guide, since i dont play RS much anymore, changed might have been made to the party room.

To all the people who believe in 'Hot Spots' ask yourself, why would Jagex implement certain areas to have drops more?!

The answer is, they wouldn't, you're just seeing a pattern where there isn't one.

As im completly done with RS, the only reason im posting is reffering to the bonaldo dude.

Who the fuck are you? PM me. I know who paid for my guide and who didnt, your name does not ring a bell.

And yes fine, ill admit, Ive tested it, and there are no more hotspots. However, when the guide was written Hot spots did infact exist, and i sold this guide a month and a half before i even put it on this forum, so all buyers got what they paid for, it worked, they were happy with it, Anybody saying otherwise is looking for attention.

    ;)

Edit: L0L at the report a scammer thing you made about me, i pmed you why it fails, ill save you from looking like a complete ass by not posting why

So you admit to selling guides directly to Sythe members. That's against the rules. We'll see what Sythe does about it.

No. A copy of To.Fast's guide, which deals with suppposed "hot zones" (which don't exist) is here:

    http://www.zimbio.com/Runescape+Guides/articles/1549/Runescape+2+Party+Room+Guide

My guide deals with the fact that it doesn't matter where balloons are popped: items are assigned according to the order that balloons get popped, regardless of where the balloons are located.

Yet again Tom, you have proved yourself to be a clueless moron again.

There once was a guide selling forum on sythe in which the guide was sold.

Since you turned off private messages:

Where are you getting the nonsense of the guide being sold after they where not allowed? Prove to me that i sold it after guides where banned from being sold, seriously, prove it, and i will click the logout button on sythe now and never come back to this site with edramafags like you.

Thats right, you cant, because, i did not.

lol so you are denying it? scammers always deny everything.

i dont care about the money tho the guide didnt work. giving the guide away free after people pay for it is something only a scamming prick would do. you should be banned.

We all have different reasons for coming here. Mine are to get rid of scammers, keyloggers, phishers, etc., and to try to contribute to user education (unofficially). I managed to do both here: I got rid of a scammer (unless he can successfully appeal), and I tried to educate people on how the Party Room REALLY works so that readers have a better chance of getting something at a Drop Party.

With that out of the way:

THE STRATEGY GIVES YOU A BETTER CHANCE, NOT A GUARANTEED WIN

Understand that even though you now know a strategy to improve your chances of getting an item at a Drop Party, that doesn't mean you're going to be successful every time. There are hundreds of people running around at Drop Parties, and every square that a balloon falls on will have some people running there trying to pop it. By standing far away from the chest, you improve the chance of being the one to pop that balloon from, say, 1 in 15 (near the chest) to 1 in 4 (far away from the chest). You can still completely miss out, and it can take a LOT of Drop Parties before everything evens out for you.
