HPV, spreading like wildfire.

for those of you who dont know what HPV is, It is Human Papilloma Virus. It is a sexually transmitted disease (STD). It is a really big problem in todays society, and it is mainly affecting women. For women HPV is the main cause of Cervical Cancer, and it also makes the woman infertile, this means that she cant have a baby when she is older. It is such a probem because it is the most spread STD in america, and with a population with this generation of boys and girls it is becoming a huge issue.

The issue that i am worried about is that kids think that a condom is like a shield that can block you from everything. Condoms almost have no effect on this disease. It is transmitted through sexual contact, and it is just everywhere.

Lucky for us men it doesnt affect us very badly, it is also bad becuase it is very hard to tell if you have it. This means, you have it as a man, you get married and decide to have kids with your wife. You transfer it too her and she is then infertile.

Don't have sex with random people and make sure that the person your having sex with is healthy.

The HPV vaccination is out, so women just need to get that, and the problem is solved.

I've never heard of HPV, but I just read on (the dutch) wikipedia that you can be get an injection for it.
Is this around for a long time or not?

Do you know how you can tell you have it? Or if you can tell if your partner has it before sex?

 

20 women have died in Australia from the vaccination actually.

 

The Garsadil vaccination has less than half the average reports of serious adverse reactions when compared to other vaccines. Although 20 women (all in Australia?) have died, I haven't seen any evidence to show that it was in any way related to the vaccine... Over 16 million people have had the shot.

 

Although there is a vaccine it covers only 4 of the 100+ types of HPV.

I'm confused. Men can get it but it doesn't effect us, just our partner?

 

It's not condoms it's people who don't want use them, yes mostly all condoms brake, but its the woman's choice to get the Cervical Cancel Vaccine.

 

We get it and spread it, it just affects women much more.
