Without a PM Request where users have mentioned their Discord + UIDs, any user can impersonate legitimate users and come across as them. As you were likely impostor scammed, I'll leave you with these resources so hopefully this doesn't occur again. If you're adamant you weren't impostor scammed, please make a new report with the template above.

1.) ALWAYS request a sythe PM before every trade to make sure you're talking to the correct person. A correct PM should look like this: https://i.imgur.com/hhosthY.png
2.) Discord Impostors almost always have nitro, which allows them to change their Discord Discrims (#) to copy those of legitimate users
3.) You did not check to verify the Discord UID of the person you were trading. It's very easy to check this yourself, simply turn on developer mode, right click and copy ID. Explained in this guide here: Discord PM Template
