Fuck Jagex + GE.

Luckily... I haven't bought my 5 Million GP and didn't waste any of my money.

Merchanting is basically dead isn't it? I'm gonna have to skill for my money >_<.

There is a 4 hour limit for shit that you buy and sell.

Ex) Buy Item, wait 4 hours, sell same item etc.

I planned to buy 500 000 Air Runes for 10gp and sell for 11gp. 500K profit pl0x.

But... FAGex liked to kill the game some more. There is a limit on how many runes you can buy as well. I think it's 25K. >_> What profit huh.

500 000/25K = 20 000!

... The game fails... and yet I still find a reason to play it...

Oh yeah... awaiting the new faggot PK system that will surely end the game.

If the game stayed the same people would get bored.
You dont think that way at the moment but the fact is for more experienced players like my self, you get bored after awhile.
Jagex is trying to find ways to fix that.
There doing a bad job atm but i see them trying to change.

For instance:

* Today at the clanwars update a j mod was actually taking suggestions of what players want! No other game does that...

Now if you want to bitch and moan about all the updates quit.

It's that simple.QUIT.

If they made merchanting that easy itd be like bringing rwt'ing back, I think merchanting is easier then ever now, you just have to know the right item to merchant and how to do it, for instance before merchanting you would stand around for hours trying to buy and sell things and now you can just input what you want to buy and sell and let it do it for you.

 

You're just going to have to face it mate. If Jagex wants to change it, they can change it. You can't do much beside complain and rant about the updates. Face it, alot of people like the update I Personally don't but what else can you do beside play the game. Jagex will never change the updates like one of thes say "No real world trading" thats why there is a 3k rule. Andrew gower is a cock for taking out the wild but what can you do.

I make like 200-300k a day just taking 10 mins of my day using ge xD Not as much as I used to but good enough.

I still have trouble with the change. The only thing I knew was merchanting and staking and it made me shit loads of cash.
Now I have to settle for like 200k an hour and work harder =(

Before the Grand Exchange it was still hard to make money even merchanting, now it's just way too hard, that's why I quit the game a long time ago.

jagex destroyed one of the funnest things in runescape

i pk for fun i hate to lose cash though so hopefully with the new update i will be able to do both.

don't criticize someone because of there ideas.

why do so many winge about this? no change = boring! and personally i think merchanters are wankers, u dnt play the game, u use merchanting for money, how are u going to be the best on rs by doing that? whats the point, u dnt raise exp, so get over it, skill like most people do ffs. and stop being a sook -.-

 

I will admit that I was a bit harsh with my rant... but isn't it true that Jagex did screw up the game? I think it would have been better to IP ban China like most MMO's do now. That's not where the whole problem is coming from, but it does take up a large fraction of the chart.

The next thing I want to point out... is that I think the exp rate is a bit slow. I'm not whining, I'm just expressing my opinion. It took me an hour to gain mining levels when I was in 50+ (Now I just started over XD with my Pure). Some of us don't have all day to spend on the computer, and most of us do something else on the computer either than play Runescape.

Jagex... does things a bit to drastically. I believe that there was another way to fix RWT.

What keeps me playing you might ask when I dislike what Jagex did to the game?

Runescape is like Crack. You love it and hate it at the same time. It's addicting, and yet boring.

 

I get what you're saying, but JaGeX has to make changes for the game to be more "challenging".

 

Actually they have made it easer.

Jagex Inc., have been severely remodeling the game over the last few years. They've deleted the Wilderness, added Minigames, designed new skills and nerfed other popular parts. However, they've also lowered the amount of effort required to reach certain levels in our skills. By providing features like Bandits Camp, Waterfiends, Pest Control, Rock Crabs & Lobsters, Ourania Altar for Runecrafting, Make-X for certain skills, they've been catering to those with little patience

 

well tbh you cant voice ur opinion against them like that considering THEY created the game , THEY do what THEY want . its as simple as that . .
if you cant bare to stare at the g/e , which many people actually enjoy , then quit . . dont bitch and whine over a game man , play it or hate it . dont sit there hunched over your computer and swear at Jagex because its you . . . against THEM

live with it, many people have adjusted to it. u make ur profit on ge then go off and train or quest or skill and then come back when u can buy the stuff and do it again.

 

Jagex have stuffed runescape and keep continuing doing what they do but rs members have their right to voice their opinion. Just cause Jagex made the game doesn't mean it's what the players want. And...it's only a game so get over it.

 

ummmm this is my oppinion.

You say its too hard to merchant? before the GE you had to use forums, advertise what you are buying and selling. This is relatively ahrd work sometimes!! Now, the GE, you put your items up and it sells automatically..... and you moan that there is a trade limit? Everyone would be rich, and as someone else pointed out, this would bring back RWT again!

 

lol runescape is ruined now, not funny anymore, hoping for wildy to come back though !
