[APPROVED] Ironman/HCIM Minirank Suggestion

I don't really see the harm in adding this, and plenty of people on here love ironman mode.

The HCIM and UIM miniranks would look lovely as well.
Thoughts?​

 

I think it's a wonderful idea tbh I absolutely adore my hcim and it'd be nice to have it. We've got other minis for things such as League/OW so I think this would be nice for rs

 

It would be cool but there should be a way to obtain it included in your suggestion

 

Maybe if your ironman is 1500 ttl or higher? And there's no evidence of you purchasing it.

 

Would this be available permanently or just during a set amount of time?

 

Maybe we have verifiers like with LOL and you can get it anytime once the verifier confirms with you and an admin who can hand them out?

 

Very cool idea. I would support this as long as we can find a way to be “all inclusive” some people play on different standards or restrictions that others (ex: level 3 only hcim or combat only hcim)
So finding a happy medium should be considered

 

I think it should only be given for x amount of time to keep it sort of exclusive.

Doesn't mean we can't have it available for a long time, but I would like to see it come to and end at some point.

A verifier is a terrific idea.

 

Could just be the discord minirank Delfiam over again. Everyone waiting on the rank

 

Seems like the part of proving whether or not the account was purchased might be tough to track/prove. If someone's buying a 1500+ (HC)IM I wouldn't personally care if they got the minirank. Could be something community could vote on as well if this was accepted.

 

To be honest i'd love this. As a fellow ironscaper it would be cool to see this ^^

 

I personally don't mind it as I also play on an ironman but the manual verification sounds like a lot of extra work for a purely cosmetic minirank.

Perhaps pair up with the OSRS discord (I would have to make an ironman role) and verify through something like this: Get Your Sythe Steamer Minirank Here

Aka, join OSRS discord (Also ran by Sythe), post on a thread showing that you've joined and got the ironman role through a verification and await for an Admin to award it.

Like I said though, seems like quite a lot of work for a cosmetic minirank. I'll wait for more opinions on this.

 

No support. Everyone can make an ironman and get that mini rank.
I like @Program idea although checking if someone purchased the account is gonna take loads of work but it should be for some speical iron man only.

 

I love this idea and i don't have a ironman would be cool to see who do enjoy the mode i do think they should be locked behind something to me Total level makes the most sense 1500-1750 seems the most fair.

 

@TySimpson Question if i can why make it easier to get the Minirank by doing a different build like obby maul when the difference in 1attk 60str is vastly different from 1500 total i think it should be consistent across the board no matter the type?

 

Thats fair i didnt think about the time required to get the maul but feel like specific requirements for each build might muddy the waters. thanks for replying
