People do actually do that on their fruit trees and it works to scare birds off. my old neighbours did it.

 

forget about people saying ripped, they are useless, all saying the same thing and copying each other, getting a post. forget them for a start.

why do you thinks its the best picture i can find but it give the basic idea to put cd in trees to keep animals/birds away.

 

you can also stick CDs in a microwave, looks so cool

 

Or you could tape/glue the cd's to your wall, and BAM ghetto wallpaper.

 

I usually just throw them at snowmen, they stick in all funny like, Decent guide otherwise, A lot of people saying it's ripped though.
