Creating runescape account ip

Hey guys,

I was wondering. If you are creating a runescape ip on the website (email + password set) does jagex also know this ip adres or just from the first login? Otherwise you should also use the same ip adres when botting on and when creating the account. Please share your information about this

 

I believe it logs the IP address from the website.

This is what i was thinking so that is true. However, if you want an account for long-term then it might be good to create on home ip wait for a while maybe play it a little bit then bot on proxy/vpn. That way you can recover it back. Am i right?

 

I've heard of a small amount of cases where people get away with this, but I don't think it's very common. Jagex isn't that dumb.

 

I see. better off then just creating it out of the same ip. Do you think it is dangerous changing ip's when an account is young? Sometimes the account will get locked you think jagex will monitor these accounts more closely?

 

Why would you change IPs?
As long as their locations are close, shouldn't get locked.

 

since as mentioned above i would like to register on a home ip then maybe bot a while on home ip and then switch to a proxy. Therefore i might be able to unlock the account when it gets banned.

 

I wouldn’t play around with your home ip if you have accounts you care about using that same ip. Just simply buy 2 proxies. Or if you want to get fancy buy a regular proxy and the other a residential proxy.

 

so residential proxy jagex knows that it is from a home ip?
