Any Ultimate Frisbee Players Here?

D1. Looking at getting our top guys another year of club experience, hitting recruiting hard to get some athletic guys and taking a run at it next year. We’re very top heavy in the sense that our best players can compete but our depth players can barely dump the disc and catch by the end of the year due to recruitment struggles

 

Nice, we're a small D3 school so recruitment is extremely difficult. We're super deep this year, but there are probably 4 teams that could come out of the Region to go to Natties so it'll be tough for sure. I'm a senior so I'm really pulling for this to he our year to make it. Gonna try out for some Mixed Club teams this summer too

 

Hell yeah man. To me mixed is more fun, captaining the team I was on last year. Hoping to make it a good solid year. Yet to go to any regionals yet so I want to change that

 

Played before with a few friends. Really fun game but kinda easy to get a bit too competitive.

 

Yeah I agree, but we're actually talking about competitive ultimate so it's supposed to be like that Our youth group used to play though and sometimes it got too competitive

 

We battled hard at Regionals this weekend. Went 5-1 on the weekend, but lost in the Championship game to go to Natties :/

 

Rough, sorry to hear. Now the focus turns towards club. At least you’re in shape and ready to go

 

For sure man, I'm D-Line cutter but ended up playing 70% of points and scored/assisted on 21% of our scores. Pretty solid.
