Do you Fear Death?

so you would be comfortable with dieing tomorrow?

 

I would like to live, and knowing that I'd die tomorrow would not be comfortable, however, un-comfortability and fear are two very different things.

If fact were to be that death included a long, painful endurance before entering the void, I suppose it would make sense to fear such, if pain was something to fear. For me, it isn't.

As for death itself, no, I do not fear such things. My longing for answers to the questions that death produces is a factor, however, that is it. My emotion towards death is that of confusion of the unknown, which is inevitable, and not fear of the unknown. Simple.

What's there to be afraid of?

 

I don't exactly fear death, or even the afterlife. The only thing I fear is that there's always the possibility of being alone for the rest of eternity.

I fear death because I think I do lots of sins and im scared that I will have a painful death. I would rather just be shot in the head with a auto-matic gun than be like heart attack or stuff like that

 

Same, I don't fear being dead just not knowing what happen's is what gets me going. Cause if the god thing is true I better straighten myself up. But if its not then what? Should I fear never being able to see my family again? Cause in the eyes of an athiest once your gone...Your gone. There is nothing more to it. But I don't want to believe in this but I kinda do at the same time and it makes me sad thinking that I will never see my grandparent's again.

I don't see death as scary, but I do not look forward to the process of dying.

I would love more than anything to go silently, painlessly, but I would not want to know how/when I die. Well, maybe when with a 10-year margin anyway.

I wouldn't say that I am scared of death or dying as I have never really thought about it that way. I just know that right now I am to young to die. When i am old I guess its just normal part of life.

Did you fear your first haircut, or dental appointment? After awhile you get used to it, right?

So yes, it does sort of scare me, but I'm sure it won't hurt a bit.

All of our work put towards living is so that we can reproduce and keep the race alive. Everything we do, going to school -> Get a job -> M arry, have kids -> After having kids and raising them, our job is done.
