Guide to having fun with microwaves.

Hi to all, thank you for taking the time to view my guide.
This is my guide on having fun with microwaves. There are 3 ways that I have included, if you know of anymore, feel free to share them. There are pictures where needed I hope you enjoy my guide.

Equipment:
-A microwave oven (preferably an old one)
-A grape
-A knife
-A CD
-Christmas lighting.

1st Method - Making a Microwave Plasma



2nd Method - CD lightning.


3rd Method - Christmas lights.

 

lmao i like the Christmas lights one. Neat awsome guide. 8/10 except i dont under stand the 1st method. Otherwise varry nice.

 

Yeah the first method is a little hard to understand, hence the overuse of pictures. Basically you cut the grape in half. take the bottom half. slice it in half again but dont break it appart. Put both in the microwave and turn it on. To make the effect even better you put a glass over the top.

 

Classic tricks. I would never attempt this due to the hazardous outcomes, but it's something fun to do when you take pre-cautions.

Did you take the pictures yourself? If so, cool. I like the outcome, and I would add NOT to put a CD you like into the microwave!

Also, you forgot the aluminum ball lightning. =D

 

ooo thanks ill research that one. The christmas lights and CD ones are my pics i used microwaves from the "council cleanup" where people leave old stuff out for the council to collect lol. The grape is too dangerous for me to do myself.

These are cool tricks, but I wouldn't declare this a guide.

Isnt the grapes plasma like.. Deadly? very deadly?

 

phat and swift i do not know how you justify that, it tells you how to do these "tricks" in a microwave, hence it is a guide.

LOL just tried the grape one, i had to use a fire extinguisher the paint on inside of the microwave started to burn lucky my house is made of concrete.

 

I knew all except the christmas lights. Here are a few more you can add:

Carrots, they act like a grape, but bigger.
Aluminum foil, ye, arching and stuff.
Peeps marshmellow candy. Get two of them, and stick a toothpick in the front of each of them. Put them in the microwave facing each other. One will explode and shoot its toothpick at the other. DING DING DING DING, WIN
