I don't know about you but one thing I have always hated about rs is the fact that some very important items arnt stakable so I was thinking in the MMO we could get somthing like.....

You would have to buy a pack or some thing and it only holds a certin number of items/gives predetermind stats and bouns. Every pack would be diffrent so you could switch packs for what you are going to do ie, One pack would be lighter and give a better combat bouns but hold less items while another would be heavier and give non combat bounses and hold more items.

Just a thought tell me what you think.

I think you should just have an inventory like in most games. It should be able to hold a certain weight. And you cant go over that.

Tbh, it kinda seems like you people are sucking up to the mod..

I like his idea.. Interchangeable backpacks that can carry different amounts of items. So if you're going PKing, you could carry a light pack, since your combat would be improved if you weren't lugging around a huge pack. Why does this need to be like Runescape anyways?

    Quickly brainstorming...

Belts. You can put potions on a special belt instead of carrying a backpack. It would carry less than the backpack, but have better stats since it doesn't get in your way when in combat. It doesn't really slow you down. Kinda like Batman I guess?

I like the belt idea to that would be really cool in a game. And the reason I said backpacks is just like cow_say_moo said if your going pking you can switch it out to try to get an advatage over others

I think it should be a weight system too. So the items you hold isn't restricted by an amount of space, but rather a weight limit. More realistic if you ask me. I mean, I like the new invent suggestion, but hey, if it aint broke, don't fix it.

Also if any of you have played diablo, how theres a certain ammount of room in your inventory and bigger items will take up more space. That idea isn't bad either.

i dont like the idea of all the puches, it makes it more complicated and harder work for new players.

But there is a huge benifit once you understand how it works. It can give you an advatage over the people that don't understand it.

I suggest that you actually CAN be allowed to go over the weight limit, but when doing so, it severely limits your abilities, the higher over the limit the more it does so.

I suppose that the ways it could be limited in combat are obvious, but out of combat it could cut down your ability to run, then start to cut down walking speed with a fixed ratio to the excess weight being carried.

i agree, have a certain stat maybe as well that changes the amount you can carry...

perhaps have special "food" or "first aid" bags that can hold lots of food and potions in each respectively and have all different types with different stat boosts, so someone can have a +str on and someone else can go for agility or something... that would be awesome.

    The weight system plz.

In rs you can carry 28 rune plates as easily as 28 potatoes, and that's kinda stupid. -.-

I don't give a damn what the mod says about this, this is my real opinion ;P

Well, i think it would be a good idea for merchanters in game. But, if we made it more interesting, like:

User buys a pouch that holds 7 items for 3m, and he carries in his pouch 5 sharks, 1 rune defender, and 1 great axe. When that user dies or gets pk-ed, he won't lose his most valuable items and quit/trash the server (Yes, that happened to my server...).

Just an idea...Gonna make an official post with this info and a poll.......=)
