Explanation of the trade: was buying 200m osrs gold. sent payment he claims he never received even tho I contacted paypal and they said he received payment. I then put a dispute and he messages me saying why did I cancel, How do u know I cancelled if u never received? Then changes his Discord on his scythe post before I report him. but I have pictures.
Amount scammed: 144 dollars
How they scammed: took paypal didn't pay osrs gold
Proof that it's their Discord: Imgur that shows all the pictures from discord talk and his post

 

im new to this site. was my first time buying. as im looking through other scam posts I see how I messed up. His post is still up but a moderator deleted the discord on his post that scammed me. So the scammer somehow got ahold of that discord and posted on a post that was old and this user probably doesn't even use this site anymore? Well first and last time using this site I guess lol

I'm sorry for your loss, this is why we urge people to request a sythe PM before any trade, to ensure you're talking to the correct user on an up to date Discord.

You need to make sure you only have one Discord listed. Due to your carelessness, this user was scammed and others could have been.

Have all been permanently banned for scamming/attempted scamming. They were using @Truffels' old discord and fake bumping in order to find victims.
