    iTouch. 16GB+

Zune is cool and all, but it's thick, and iPod Touch rapes Zune in every single feature.

Hahahaha. Come on man, don't say stuff like that..

    Buying an MP3 player

I don't really need to much space on it, I just need it to have a low price tag and be pretty reliable. ^.^

Well if you don't need much space, try a four gig nano.
I have one, it cost $170 and it was totally worth it.

buy a cheap brand off of ebay for like a quarter of the price, they work just as good, as a matter of fact its more durable.

What format do you make it? MP3's don't get compressed into MP3's...

you have flaws in that statement. The MP3 format is the most compressed format you can get I am pretty sure. And the only thing you can do now is reduce quality to make each file be less in size. But the quality loss is not worth it.

Also in your statement you say you can compress to fit the same as an 8 gig ipod. Well then you can compress songs on the 8 gig supposedly and fit 32 gigs of music on it. Its bs and you have no idea what your talking about.

I would suggest an ipod video 80 gig. I got one for 180 usd on Craigslist and its great. Holds lots of songs, long battery life, and great use as a portable hard drive to back up my files on.

Fuck Apple. I wouldn't suggest getting an mp3 player which uses a third party application such as iTunes to store your music. Gets fucked up when you attempt to access it with a different pc, etc. I just tried restoring my iPod Mini yesterday, and it failed to restore; it basically killed all my songs, and isn't being recognized anymore because I was charging it on my new computer.

I strongly recommend the Microsoft Zune over the iPod. It's better in pretty much every way.

The iPod Touch is a rip-off. Double the price of the Zune and less than half the storage capacity.
